Better to disc down, make the gap, and get to mid-fairway here, than to hit one of the early trees and have to scramble. Even a clean, stronger shot straight up the gut has a good chance of catching one of the later trees, making this hole a little bit of a spray and pray for all but the most accurate thrower off the tee.

Definitely a 'go for it' hole, I usually grab my straight river or buzzz, with some success. Obviously, pin high and left of the wall of trees means a difficult putt, and running right into the woods is worse.

The three skinny trees that divide the fairway on this short uphill hole mean you get to choose which tight fairway you want to hit. Probably the best shot for a right hander would be a forehand s-shaped mid up the right side. Wish I had an accurate forehand!

Another straight uphill hole with danger lurking if you kick into the woods, you want to disc down here, take it in chunks (unless you've got complete control of the accuracy and distance you'll need to run for it). I've had my occasional success with a Buzzz up the middle.

The yellow ribboned tree straight ahead of the tee is used as a mando left in tournaments to keep folks away from the driveway and cars parked to the right. Accidentally hitting an early tree makes recovering for a three very do-able, while getting into the bushes left will leave you struggling.

You want a glidey mid/putter that can drift left to right here as it runs down the hill. If you can finish low and to the right, there are some nice rocks just behind the basket you'll have as a backstop. But too much speed, and just a few feet left of the pin, there's a gap into the downhill woods to give you trouble on the come back.

If you have a perfectly accurate s-shot for this hole, go for it. The rest of us would be wise to disc down, throw a control shot to mid-fairway (slightly right at the finish) for a look at the basket. The biggest mistake made here is overpowering a drive, clicking the early trees and winding up deep in the junk, with only a pitch out available.

Another hole to avoid griplock, this one seems to play a little longer than the stated 340' because you have to get into the low ceilinged gap 50-80' in front of the basket. If your drive fades left, hopefully you have enough 'D' to get past the bush that guards the basket over there.

This monster uphill shot plays long, and the place NOT to be is in the thick rough on the right. If your drive fades left beyond the telephone pole, you still have an open run to the basket.

For right handers, a gentle forehand would be best, or an under-stable mid/putter backhand. Your goal is to break to the right at the opening gap as the disc slows to a finish. Watch for uphill breezes that can lift your disc, only to glide down to the OB driveway or (worse) the playground down to the right.
