Pros:
+9 baskets are in reasonable condition and serve their purpose. +Post at each tee area helps with navigation. A few tees even feature a kickboard. +Has a variety of distances but mostly reachable for adv. players. +Holes range from open to somewhat treed, which adds a bit of variety. +Shares some amenities (bathrooms, etc.) with the on site camp area and pool.
Cons:
-Not much of any elevation in play, and the challenge is rather pedestrian. -Course plays near/around some structures, horseshoe pits, etc. Several holes will be unsafe to play if these multi-use areas are occupied. -Some of the course holds water and will flood in the springtime...similar to the rest of eastern ND.
Other Thoughts:
It's a fine course for the intended use by casual players and families staying at the campsite. But in terms of "serious" frolf, it's not much. It's a quick spin for anyone who happens to be passing through, umm, not the MIDDLE of nowhere. More like off-center in nowhere.
