A nice and varied course to learn the game drive by

Reviewed: Updated: Played on:May 13, 2022 Played the course:5+ times

Pros:

Lots of variation in shots, from open to wooded.
Various elevations for the pins
You can tell by the pins that the course is almost teaching you different types of shots/approaches.
Beautiful and relaxing area, not a ton of players so you don't have to hurry.
The course is well maintained.
Very low chance to lose discs.
Free score cards and loaner discs.

Cons:

No long distance shots at all.
All pins are par 3
Murder hornets in the summer (just be careful)
You have to pay to enter the park the course is located in. (450 yen)
Tee pads are a bit old

Other Thoughts:

I think this is a perfect course to learn to play the game. I think there is enough variation here that even more experienced players could still enjoy it. It might be a "pitch and putt" course but its still fun. I have heard there are 27 holes but when I was there it was only 18. The park is wonderful and has tons of other stuff to do as well.

Good Course, Beautiful Park 2+ years drive by

Reviewed: Played on:Jul 23, 2016 Played the course:once

Pros:

Holes are varied. They range from heavily wooded areas to open air, with decent elevation changes being the more technical shots. It's well-maintained in a beautiful park. The grass is trimmed and the woods are clean.

Cons:

No distance shots - most were between 40 and 80 meters. They also didn't have the last 9 holes (of 27 total) set up. The tee-boxes were there, but the baskets and signs were taken down. My guess is because it's summer time with a lot of people in the open field that could get hurt by flying discs.

Other Thoughts:

The GPS coordinates for the park are completely wrong. I will try to update them, but it's at "Hitachi Seaside Park" on the east coast of Japan, north of Tokyo. 410 Yen for entry. Overall, it's a very nice course. The park itself would be a good place to take the family, while you spend quality time on the golf course :)
