Traveling through, played 2+ years drive by

Reviewed: Played on:Mar 14, 2009 Played the course:2-4 times

Pros:

Nice change from some courses I've played. Neat, clean pretty well laid out.

I love the long hole on the powerlines.

Cons:

A bit tight and close on the front 9, can cause some back-ups. Not an issue the 2 times I played.

Other Thoughts:

REAL nice to see courses like this. I live in Maine and they are mostly wooded, and not much fun during the 6 months of winter.

It's a lot of fun when I travel to play courses down south, as most are free:)

1001 ft.? 2+ years drive by

Pros:

The front nine works your ability to read the course and make good decisions and throws through a moderately wooded course. the backs lets you open it up...and I mean open it up!

Cons:

1. Mandos. I hate mandos and there are two on the front. A little thought in course development and one can avoid using mandos in the design.
2. Somewhat boring back nine. These holes show little imagination and seem to play only to those with distance.

Other Thoughts:

I do like the the 1001 footer on the back. I have two or three real opportunities to card a three on this hole in my 8 years playing this course. The course can be confusing to navigate your first time out. nice evening course with the shade and usual breeze.
