Pros:
Not too much to put here. The course was much better in the past but that was several years ago, approximately 5 or 6.
- Good location
- Hole 16 is still a fun challenge.
Cons:
Holes 5 and 6 are still closed. It's been a few years that it has been this way. Hole 6 still has the tee and basket but is in middle of a temporary parking lot (not sure of the purpose).
13A was unplayable as there was contruction on the lower side of the dam.
Holes 8, 9, and 10 have been extremely neglected. Completely overgrown and hasn't been mowed in months it seems. We completely skipped 10 as we couldn't find the tee in all the weeds.
Only were able to play 14 of the holes with the contruction, and neglect of the course.
Overall very disappointed as this used to be a great place.
Other Thoughts:
Seems that discgolf is the least of the worries for this park and that they rather focus on other areas of the park including having a tuff mudder right through 1-4 and 16-18.
Don't waste your time to go out there until the contruction is over and they do something about holes 5, 6, 8, 9, 10 and 13a.
Man, sorry you had such a bad experience. The course has changed a lot over the years as the City keeps adding other amenities. The good news is that the City does value disc golf, and the course is getting a 100% redesign that will be completed later this year. So stay tuned -- better days are ahead.
