Pros:

The O'Leary School course is a nearly wide open field course which encircles one of the school buildings. Nearly all holes lack obstacles or challenge except for moderate distance, but that doesn't mean the course is without charm. One of the holes plays right near a triple jump strip complete with sand pit and another plays over a shotput or hammer throw fence.

Cons:

Tee pads: These tees might be some of the funniest ones I've ever seen! Coming in at about 12x12 INCHES, you really have to get your run up steps right to hit concrete on your release.

Boring: Trees or any sort of meaningful obstacle are sorely lacking - this isn't a fault of the designer, just the available land to work with.

Navigation: Good luck finding the little tiny teeing areas - once there though, it is fairly straightforward figuring out which basket you are headed to.

Other Thoughts:

While it is nice to have disc golf available so readily to local kids, I wonder if this course couldn't have been better tailored to their needs. A shorter course might have sufficed in this case to help ease kids into enjoying the game; plus, experienced players aren't going to play here anyway! When the young'uns get a bit older, then perhaps its time to head down the way to the bigger and better Southern Idaho or Rock Creek Courses.

Pros:

The course plays on the open fields of the middle school around the Baseball field and track. There are only a few trees on the property but it was worked in well by the course designer. There is even an old Baseball backstop on the farther end of the property that is used basically as a sand trap where you have to clear it by either going to the right or over the top of it to the basket which is forty feet or so behind it. this is a cool hole.

Cons:

The biggest problem the course has is the lack of obstacles and the distance used for some of the holes. I think for introducing children to the sport the holes could have been shortened to make it more fun for them and for us advanced players the holes need to be a little longer on some of the long par three holes to make a par four. The tee pads are really small pieces of concrete that are hard to see and throw from, I almost think keeping the natural grass would have been a better option.

Other Thoughts:

I find it pretty neat that the school put in the course on their property and I an only hope that it is introducing the kids to our sport, hopefully the school has a P.E. class that goes out and plays disc golf on a regular basis.
