Plumb Creek Park DGC 2+ years

Reviewed: Played on:Aug 12, 2018 Played the course:once

Pros:

Gravel tee pads which can cause you to slip and could be dangerous. Several of the holes just go back and forth in an open field. Just not a fun layout.

Cons:

Good for a quick round. Tee signs for each hole. Nice little park.

Other Thoughts:

It pains me to do this review because I love playing all sorts of courses. From short putter courses to long distance courses, I am a fan of all types of disc golf courses. However, this is one course that I can say, I will more than likely never travel back to, to play. I normally like to play every course a couple times but this is one that I have no desire to visit again. In my opinion, the course layout is sub-par, and the tee areas are terrible. The tees are made out of small gravel which makes for slippy drives which could be very dangerous. You could definitely roll your ankle on these tees as you slide every time you throw if you do any sort of run/walk up. As for the course layout, there are several holes that are pretty much just back and forth in an open field with absolutely no obstacles in the way. This could be fun for a beginner, but if you have played any amount of time, you really aren't going to enjoy these holes aside from the thrill of an ace run. I know they didn't have much land to work with in designing this course and trust me, I have taken that into consideration before typing this review, but this is still just one course I just did not enjoy. I have heard that one of the baskets have been moved since I have played this course, so maybe it changes that a bit, but honestly don't care enough to go back and check out the new pin position. If you see me at this course in the future, I was heavily influenced by friends haha. If you want to see this course on video, check out my crew playing this course in the video below...

Straight Lines 2+ years drive by

Reviewed: Played on:Oct 12, 2018 Played the course:once

Pros:

Easiest course I've ever played at. Very quick play and good for starters. Easy to walk or bring children/dogs. Also includes holes next to the basket for foot golf, or Soccer golf if you prefer.

Cons:

Straight lines without much elevation change or trees to play around. Pretty boring course.
