Nice Eagle Scout Project Tanner! 2+ years

Reviewed: Updated: Played on:Apr 4, 2014 Played the course:once

Pros:

The course was built as an Eagle Scout project by Tanner Nash. I played a few of these Eagle Scout project courses and this one is the best one I've encountered. The nine hole course uses 8 baskets. The first Innova basket doubles up as the # 9 basket. The signs are nice colored ones with all the useful information such as maps, par, distance and a hole sponsor.

There are a variety of hole distances and difficulties. Usually I would comment about which target group was this course designed for. But here I think it worked making the course kind of an enjoyable little rec course. It has some short ACE runs and a couple longer, more challenging holes. There are chances to air out your arm here.
The park doesn't seem to be all that busy so I think there wouldn't recieve much interference from other park patrons.

Cons:

Signs were missing on some holes (# 2, # 3 and others) making navigation a little confusing). Luckily I was guided by a couple of friendly locals.
Bushes can be a little prickly when looking for errant tosses.

Other Thoughts:

This is just a fairly solid little course. It's going to appeal to the locals who aren't looking to travel too far, who aren't looking for that great of a challenge. Maybe the teen bicycle crowd.

It has it's niche. It exposes folks to our game and thank you Tanner for that.
