Excellent views! Hole 8 is an epic throw over gravel pit
I've given up on this course and will just drive there to throw this hole.

Alder,alder,alder....constantly looking for discs even with good throws and knowledge of course.
Course guide is poor. 50% of holes are blind throws. Basically throwing into grove of trees then searching 30 minutes.
Bring your worst discs. Gravel eats up your discs fast!
Layout is very confusing first couple of times. Local help is good, just don't hit them as their etiquette is bad and they will run in front of you as soon as they throw and your up.
Keg tones-Guess I'm just not into tones...especially keg tones. Way too easy.

Other Thoughts:
Its nice to have a local place to play, but with a better layout and some people to maintain this course would make Raven's bowl much funner. Not a tight local scene. If anybody is out playing they are usually de-golfers. Save your frustration and discs and enjoy AK.
