Much Improved!

Reviewed: Played on:Oct 30, 2023 Played the course:once

Pros:

- Good quality baskets
- great new tee signs with basket placement marker
- multiple basket placements
- for the most part good tee pads, mostly concrete/pavers and some turf
- simple navigation, easy to find your way around
- hole 1 and 18 are both very close to the parking lot
- tons of trees to make you throw lots of different shots to make birdies

Cons:

- a couple of the turf tee pads are not the best
- 2 or 3 holes I would consider poke and hope
- other than one or two holes, every hole in under 300 feet, so it just lacks long distance variety

Other Thoughts:

Very fun shorter technical course. This was my first time playing it but from looking at previous reviews, it seems like there was some big improvements to the course. Definitely the best course in the immediate area.

Pros:

Excellent new 18 hole layout designed by Leonard Muise! Super fun short and tight, technical shots. Challenging but not particularly long although you get to air out a few. Friendly locals. Gorgeous mature redwood trees and a lovely pond. Suitable for newer players but pros will still find it fun and challenging.
Not too likely to lose a disc.

Cons:

Bathrooms are only porta potties
No running water yet
A newer course so still a little rough although you can tell a ton of work has been done.
Some tees are dirt and/or mats. Work is underway to complete the cement tees.

Other Thoughts:

This community is fortunate to get such a fun and beautiful course here. It's the only disc golf course within a hour and a half drive. The locals are getting into it in a major way. GROW THE SPORT!!
