Pros:
- It's at Road America, which is cool!
- The baskets are very nice.
- The signage on each hole is spectacular, full color prints with nice information.
Cons:
The course itself is horrible.
- Everything is extremely overgrown. The fairway is roughly 3-4' wide, and if you miss at all you might lose your disc. I spent 20 minutes looking for a disc approximately 2' from the fairway. The vegetation is extremely thick, with a lot of thorns.
- You can't see the baskets from most holes; you're shooting blind. The full color signs tell you where it might be located, but you don't know.
- Layout: Some of the holes are really, really far away from other holes. It's confusing and very spread out.
- Water hazards; there is a giant mud pond on the back 9 that looks like it was some sort of construction site. It's mostly just mud/dirt without any vegetation so your discs will roll right into the mud pit.
Other Thoughts:
This was easily the worst course of disc golf I've ever played in my life. I will never bring discs to Road America again unless I feel like losing them.
