where is number three tee basket and number four tee? 2+ years drive by

Reviewed: Played on:Oct 13, 2018 Played the course:once

Pros:

it is reasonable play, but short.
you would have to work hard at losing a disc on this short course.
you want to throw casual for aces , this is the place.

Cons:

the holes play on top of each other.
with no direction as to where the basket is, and all of them being on top each other, take your pick.

Other Thoughts:

not impressed.

ok 2+ years drive by

Reviewed: Played on:Jun 23, 2010 Played the course:once

Pros:

Not very busy ,fun if you play paths o.b ,lots of ace runs ,easy and will boost your ego

Cons:

short, overlapping tees and odd basket placements, overall design is underwhelming and lacks shot creativity 7 was the only hole that made you think how i'm i going to do this .

Other Thoughts:

when you play here play everything by threes and the paths o.b even then i shot 8 under my first round there way to easy but for what the course is and the small amount of land it works

Small Sherwood 2+ years drive by

Reviewed: Updated: Played on:Jun 22, 2010 Played the course:2-4 times

Pros:

Very Small and Tight Course, gives a different setup than most courses, definitely a fun course to go through a bunch of times as it doesn't take long to go through. Park is well kept with available trash cans and decent parking. Scorecards are also available in the small bell tower thing out front.

Cons:

A bit too easy, based on the par setup. Played through 3 times and had 6 eagles on the 4th and 9th holes (both par 5s). Shot an average of -6 on the 3 rounds, but did have some fun navigating through some of the holes. Hole 7 is an almost impossible 90 degree right turn over a bush, and hole 8 is a very difficult par 2 through a bunch of trees.

Other Thoughts:

Really fun once in a while.

Pros:

The park is set back in an old spiritualist camp away from the main street. The course is small but other factors can be brought in to up the difficulty.( gravel drive, woods) Every hole is obscured in some way or form by trees, so big arm throws are limited. I like to think of it as a control course !! Baskets are new as the course is less than a year old. A map has been placed in the west window to map out the course, and score cards provided in the old bell tower. No time limit at this park so playing at night is an option. Park is clean and well maintained with a Port-a-jon on sight.

Cons:

It is a small course with the longest hole measuring 302 ft. The ground is flat with 8 out of 9 baskets visible from the their tees. The tee placement for 9 is in an odd spot. The grounds are shared with the Boy Scouts and an archery club so a few time the "entire" course has not playable.

Other Thoughts:

The Course is less than a year old, so not to many folks know it is there. The course is a great challenge for novice to beginner players. With some added factors the "big arm" throwers are limited on the open space to let it rip.Look for upcoming tournaments at this park as local interest is beginning to grow.
