good for beginners 2+ years drive by

Reviewed: Played on:Jun 3, 2011 Played the course:5+ times

Pros:

can be played quickly for those times when u have to hurry.not alot of foot traffic so its very peaceful.lots of shade and good local huk'ers.great course for beginners to learn on.

Cons:

short...nothin really over 300'.only one hole is a real challenge due to an extreme dog leg.Parking is minimal so when there is archery goin on at the building its pretty much game over.

Other Thoughts:

local club is called PDF..and they are all super awesome including myself..this course is better than most of the local 9 hole courses so i give it an extra half a star..

Tight and Technical 2+ years drive by

Reviewed: Played on:Mar 18, 2010 Played the course:5+ times

Pros:

This course is one of those hidden gems right smack dab in the middle of where a discgolf course needs to be. Varying distance throws with some deceivingly short shots with trees all over. Bathroom on sight and scorecards. Rarely are people an issue on this course. Nice flow to each hole and a decent use of the little space utilized for this course.

Cons:

Soggy in places. Watch out for soggy conditions at pin 3 and pin 9. Lack of wastebaskets is kind of a downer. It's a young course so there are no tee signs or boxes but at least they're marked. Watch the building on hole 1 as it's easy to lose a disc on the roof or break a window. Parking is a little lacking. Make sure your not parked between the tee and pin on 9.

Other Thoughts:

It seems like the locals here are really cool and it would be neat to see this course really take off and get another 9. Problem is with such a small town sponsors may be lacking.

Not bad 2+ years drive by

Reviewed: Played on:Feb 2, 2010 Played the course:2-4 times

Pros:

There has been absolutely no traffic there and no waits. Its a pretty short course, but there are opportunities for some long shots. Some of the tee placements make the course a little tough and you need a good forehand and backhand. Its kept up pretty well and the gravel paths can make it a little tough on some holes.

Cons:

It is a little hard to figure out where to start, because there is no map anywhere... my first time I walked around for a good 10 minutes trying to find the first hole, but once I found 1 it wasn't too bad following to the next holes. Also, I havent seen a person out there yet, which can be good or bad.
