Pros:
Updated review now that the course has been shrunk down to 9 holes.
The course is usually windy and creeks come into play between holes 1, 7, and next to hole 8. I believe the best part of the course (1 ~ 9) was saved during the truncation. With multiple tee pads per hole, it still makes for a quality round of 18 holes. Holes 10 ~ 19 were a little more wide open as there was not much to work with over there. Many players won't miss those holes.
There are several unique and challenging holes depending on the pin position. Hole 3 across the creek (next to the covered bridge), and hole 5 tucked into the woods are personal favorites of mine. Hole 2 features an elevated basket.
The worlds' smallest mando on hole 13 is no longer.
The people in Athens have always been some of the friendliest. So, don't be a horse's butt and show your frustration when the course beats you down or you're close to heat exhaustion.
Cons:
Hole 6 plays over a busy walking path.
The park dept. needs to go hog wild with weed killer in those creeks so the water will flow better. It used to be a really scenic creek that has plenty of rock.
Holes 11 and 12 are currently missing due to park construction. Maybe this will open up an opportunity to move those holes to a more interesting part of the park with better land?

Other Thoughts:
I like the challenge this course presents with the lack of prime real estate available for disc golf. Bring water. It does get hot on this course!
