Reviewed: Played on:Mar 20, 2016 Played the course:5+ times

Pros:

Hole 7

Cons:

Muddy
No signs or tee markers make it hard to navigate
Stupidly short
Sticker plants everywhere
Antique tee pads and baskets
Lots of dog poop, bagged and unbagged.
Hole 9 is dangerous, little kids playing behind the basket.

Other Thoughts:

I've played this course several times and every time I'm amazed by how bad it is. I'll forget after 6 or 8 months and stop by again because I find myself in the neighborhood.
If you can find the first hole, it is the only one where you might need a driver. Don't end up in the woods to the right of the teepad, meaning dont griplock a backhand or let your flick go anywhere near the woods or you'll be lucky if you find your disc and you'll certainly pay the price to the sticker bushes.
The path from 1 to 2 goes through a swamp that I've never seen dry out. Walking up 2's fairway can be a little drier but it's often a sloppy mess to get to anyway. Putter or mid with a sticker bush to miss in the middle of the fairway.
3 is where the course designer must have bumped his head and stopped paying attention to what he was doing. The tee pad is in the middle of a field (hard to find) pointing at a park bench with a basket hidden in the brush behind it. All but 2 of the times I have been here, there were people on the bench so I had to skip this hole (would you ask somebodys grandparents to get out of your way so you can throw your putter 140 feet?). And then there's that, why is the hole so short? Thee tee pad is in the middle of the field, why not move it back a little and make this a more legit hole?
4 is a swamp.
5 is even worse than 4.
6 is a ridiculously short throw at 130 feet but it's down a walking path and the stickers are so thick on both sides of the path I think about not throwing it every time I'm there. Not that I'd want more chance to get stabbed, but the hole would at least seem more legit if the tee pad was farther back up the walking path closer to 5's tee.
7 is the only hole on this course I think is worth playing. It's an open, grassy uphill field shot to a basket in tree jail. I don't know what those little trees are but they are super cool.
8 is a tunnel shot out to a basket in an open field, make it through the tunnel or fight with the stickers to get your disc back. Even if you are on the fairway in the tunnel it can get sketchy trying to backswing or follow through.
9 is a blind poke and hope fade with a sandbox that had kids playing in it a couple of the times I was there that is right next to the basket. If you go long up the road and make it through the trees, you better hope there aren't any kids in there.

I wouldn't bring someone new here because of all the sticker bushes. If you go off the fairway it's easy to lose a disc and you're gonna get stuck. Played here in Spring, Summer, Fall and Winter, it doesn't seem like the swampy holes ever dry. You're going to need the map to navigate the course successfully, there are way too many paths in the woods and there are no tee markers so it's really hard to find some of them. Even the ones out in the field are hard to find, read how many reviewers said they couldn't find the first tee!
There's a lot of room in this park, so I really don't understand why they would put the course in on the walking paths, lots of dog walkers and kids use that space. Also, in a park this hilly, why are 7 of the holes flat?
Hopefully after writing this review I won't forget how bad this course is and don't ever make the mistake of coming here again.
