Has baskets and signage.
Lots of obstacles- trees, ponds, students.
Holes are played across well maintained lawns.

The holes on this course were too short for me to enjoy playing. I'm all for practicing my short game, but not being able to air out a drive at least once is a major negative. The rounds become very one dimensional, which grows tiresome.

I would advise not going in the manmade pools to retrieve a disc. The cement is covered in algae which is super slippery. I could not get back out without help!

As others have said, I wish they would've trimmed the number of holes down and elongated a few. Would've made this a far better 9-12 hole course than trying to cram in 18.

-18 holes with signs, fairly easy to navigate
-can play very quickly
-in spring/summer very pretty course
-Mach 3 basets
-enjoyable for families and beginners
-in winter there is no water, discs are easily retrievable

-extremely short course
-once you reach hole 14 or so, you start playing safari
-just a very cramped space
-I can see water being a big issue in summer on a windy day

If I had read the reviews I would have seen it was a small course. Only playing one from the provo area though, we chose wrong.
It can be a great course but reducing the number of baskets could greatly improve it. Someone said 9, I would agree with up to 12 at the most.
For ace races or trilogy challenge, this was made for it

If you are looking for a miniature disc golf course this is it! With the longest hole being a massive 199ft (hole 1) literally every hole is reachable with a putter.

You play in a beautiful area around some nice ponds with the mountains in the background. Makes for great scenery.

Ambiguous signs at least give you the distance so you can gauge where the baskets are. You have an area to throw from cement, whether a designated tee pad or not, on every hole.

For a campus course it's not bad, just really really cramped. It does make for an ace race though!

Although there are tee signs and a somewhat designated tee area, the signs aren't even always facing the right direction, which can make for a bit of confusion. Hole 4, 6, 8, 9, 12, 16, and 17 are perfect examples.

From what I could tell there were only actually 16 baskets. I'm pretty sure holes 9 and 12 throw to the same basket, as do holes 15 and 17.

Because this is a straight par 2 course it leaves no room for error. You have to ace a hole to make up for one crappy drive, which is of course difficult. This means it really sucks to bogie a hole.

The ponds come into play on at least half of the holes. This in and of it's self isn't all that bad, as they are fairly shallow and it's not that likely that you'll throw into them since it's such a short course, but it's the smell of duck poop that is the real con if you have to go swimming for a disc.

It's a campus course, so the best time to play it is on Sunday when you don't have students in the way. That being said this course is in an area that doesn't get all that much traffic, so this is a minor con, especially compared to other campus courses.

They really should have gone for a better designed 9 hole course. It is, however, one of the better campus courses out there, so I applaud the effort.

Leave your drivers at home, it's a waste of weight. Take the opportunity to work on your up shots and putts. You could always spice things up and do some crazy shots, like climb the stairs and throw from the patios.

Parking on Sat/Sun is best in the front (South side of campus) where the meters are, since they are free then, and you can head West which will put you right by the tee for hole 2. Otherwise you can park in the event center parking lot during the week on the West side of the campus. Walk South toward the baseball field and you'll run into hole 10/11. Head East from there following the flow of the course and you'll find hole 1 over by the Administration building.

Final note: I aced hole 4 with my putter. Woot!

Good for Beginners, Families, or Casual Players.

Really SHORT course. Everything was between 150-250 feet, tops. If you play Par 2, there's little chance for birdie. Play Par 3 and you'll birdie everyone. Pretty boring if you know what you're doing.

If you're going with a group that has no experience, have them play Par 3 and they'll enjoy themselves. Beware of the pond (man-made) as the discs may slide to the center after landing in the water. Other than that the only reason to play the course would be to work on one's approach/putting game.
