Great for beginners, on campus for in-between-class fun, free parking on weekends in the metered, visitor parking lot next to course.

: Beginner course oriented, not for big arms. No restrooms. No dogs allowed. No alcohol.

This course is located on the UVU campus, right off of I-15 and the University Parkway exit, on well maintained grass between the visitor parking lot (metered), and the baseball field. There are now 18 baskets in the same area the original 13 are. Teesigns for the original 13 are there and the newer holes will be upgraded soon, as of 12-17-09. Some of the teepads are on the sidewalk that goes around the ponds, and some of the teepads are on natural grass. The course plays short, short, and shorter. Drives between 150 and 200 feet are the norm.
Terrain is flat except for two holes, and wide open (no blind tee shots) with stands of trees around two man-made water recycling ponds with fountains that operate during the summer. The ponds freeze during the winter so are not much of a hazard for disc golfers.
Beginning players will favor this course and more experienced players will be practicing their approach and putting shots, some of the trees come into play but not overly. During the week foot traffic is heavy while school is in session, the weekend is the best time to play there, parking is free in the metered visitor lot, and there are not too many people around for school or playing disc golf.
This course is actually a good place to play during the winter, the ground is consistent from hole to hole, visibility down the fairways is excellent, reducing the number of lost discs in the snow. More experienced players go there on the weekends and play safari golf which will test your arm as well as accuracy. And there are less people there compared to the other courses in the area, so its really easy to make up your own course if you get bored with the original short layout. I don't think this course is a must-play for experienced players, but it is great for introducing the sport to new players. Perfect for a campus environment.

poorly marked tees, 18 baskets, but only 13 are marked for play. the grass was rather swampy in a number of areas.
