Still the best show in town! 2+ years drive by

Played the course:5+ times
Pros:
1) Best course in town!
2) Good elevation change.
3) Variation in distance and forestation provides challenges for experienced players.
4) Short rubber tee pads for all 10 holes

Cons:
1) Poorly marked tees. Had to poke around a bit to find where most of the tee pads were and a couple of the signs were missing. Most of the signs that were
present did not have accurate distances.
2) Short rubber tee pads - very slippery when wet!
3) Not a full 18. They did a nice job using the space available, but it's still a bummer that there isn't 18 holes.
4) Typically windy conditions. I've played the course more than 20 times, and in my 3 years in Great Falls, there may have been a handful of days where you didn't have a screaming wind at Warden Park (which is up near "Flag Hill" or more accurately Overlook Park). That's just the nature of the beast, though...no fault of the course designer.

This course has made a move towards respectability with the upgrades (added baskets and revamped - though very short! - tee pads. It's still the best (and only) course in town.
I would recommend it to anyone that's in the area or is passing by - it's a fun course!
Some basic directions from what I remember of the course:
Hole 1 tee is to the left of the parking lot and you throw diagonally uphill towards the basket - Blind throw.
Hole 2 tee is off to the left of a gravel path (field is on your right, tee box to left near pines) and you throw across a large open field to a hidden basket (just downhill at end of field) - Blind shot.
Hole 3 tee is on the south side near the wooden fence and you throw over and downhill with a slight dogleg left. Careful you don't overdo it on the tee shot, as there is a road about 15 yds past the basket - Blind shot.
Hole 4 tee is along the walking path and you throw uphill over some pines to a basket - Blind shot.
Hole 5 tee is on a hilltop not far from #4 basket. You throw across a small valley towards the gazebo.
Hole 6 tee is slightly downhill from basket #5 and you throw a long way downhill to basket. Great hole to open it up!
Hole 7 tee is slightly uphill from #6 basket and can be one of the most punishing holes on the course if the wind is in your face (the basket location has changed from old layout and wind usually comes from right to left now). Throw uphill back in the general direction of the middle telephone pole - Blind Shot.
Hole 8 tee starts uphill and goes a ways downhill following the telephone pole lines. This is a great hole, just beware of getting caught in the wind and going over the barbwire fence (if you're skinny you can slip through the gate if you toss into the equipment yard instead of jumping barbwire fence!) - Blind shot.
Hole 9 tee is down in the corner of the park throwing over a drainage ditch (which was generally dry anytime I played there) and near some pines to the basket.
#10 tee is towards the interior of the park from basket #9, keeping east of the playground. Throw up to the lower ridge with the basket being uphill and slightly west of the parking lot.
The course is a bit more navigable now that there are pads for all the holes, so just poke around and you'll be fine! That's the best I can do from memory! Good luck, and feel free to drop me a message if you find something of the review seriously lacking or just totally wrong!
