Your chance to air it out (most folks won't risk getting into the woods 470' away) so it's check the wind, and let the big dog eat.

'Lucky' requires a gentle touch to avoid getting off the carved out fairway and into the thick rough. You really don't want to get into the corner of Honeysuckle and Vine to the right of the green. I try to get my Comet on a soft hyzer fade line just inside the little tree mid-fairway. And the putt will also be touchy: run it too hard & you could get down in the tree shadows and rough below.

The Meadow has two tees and two basket positions. From White to Long, it's a fairway (Stag) or a driver for me, trying to drop just below the branches right into the green. If the basket is to the right, the best shot is a rhfh, but I haven't got a good one, so it's rhbh flipover with my Underworld.

Blue Tee: this tee has a mando to the right of the tree just past the White tee, in order to 'make' you throw away from that tee, and work the low-Ceiling lane on the right. A lot of guys have the snap to place a Comet all the way to the basket.

Blue Tee: the Wire requires you to keep to the middle of the fairway, so throw something long without too much fade. If you've got the arm to actually pass the wire and get into the trees, try to keep it to the right half of the gap. My smart play is my glidey River, and not my HS drivers.

Long Basket: It's crucial for safety that we all observe the mando left of the sycamore edging the slope, in order to stay away from the picnic tables by the path to the right. I've got to flex a fairway driver the 316' downslope, and if I can get through the grove of trees, avoid going long to the OB path.

Get Down is pretty rough around the edges right now. It's generally a putter shot with one tree down the middle, but avoid kicking to the right into the nasty concrete slabs (you can't see from the tee). Obviously the rough left of the green is not a place you want to be either.

Tuff Up is only 149' from the White tee, but plays nearly 300 because of the elevation. It's a pretty full throw to reach the green.

Note basket position may be left or further up on the right. This ace run is short but fairly steeply up the hill, with two trees to negotiate halfway there. Best if you can get between them (there are some trees beyond right), so I throw my Comet from the right front corner of the tee box (rhbh).

Stay Up: the first hole at the top of the hill is straight, but really has the safest approach (for rhbh players) just barely fading in from over the little rill to the right. I'll sometimes try a Stag here, but sweat it every time because I do NOT want to climb that slope twice after a nasty tree kick!
