[Innova] Rhyno Collectors

Holy cow, I went to a well stocked shop today and ALL THE RHYNOS HAVE A FAT DOME!!! What is this travesty? The guy at the counter said flat ones were hard to find in any plastic. I found one old stock champ that was passably flat.

Is this a consistent case everywhere nowadays?

The last "new" Rhyno I bought was a San Marino, and it's not flat. The Ontario's are flat for the most part but the newer San Marino's are garbage, I only use it for upshots.

Quick question regarding Pro Rhynos. The website Disc Golf Values has some in stock. I was wondering...are these the real deal original Pro Rhynos?

I could be wrong, but I believe the true floppy goodness of mid grade Rhyno was "Pro-Line."

If you order from them you should get the asian open ones. Those are the softer flexy ones. The stock stamps are later runs.

I think the dgvalues ones are R-Pro despite what they say. I know slickwheels would agree with me. (at least the orange ones, never tried the whites)

So im pretty new to "Rhyno world" so i was thinking (at the time i have only 1 DX rhyno but ill have some more sometime after winter) ill have chance to buy some Pro rhynos but i dont want them because if i love them i wont get them more :/ so i was thinking that should i buy pro rhyno even with a chancemof loving it or just buy R-Pro,DX and champion rhynos. So my point is that i dont want a pro rhyno because if i love it and miss it i have no chance of replaicing it with a new one (at reasonable price at least) and that i should just buy DX,R-PRO and champion rhynos because they are easily replaceable. Should i buy a pro rhyno or not :/ I really dont know.

As someone who recently discovered and fell in love with Rhynos, I have been asking myself the same question. I started w/ two DX Rhynos and then bought a gummier Champ Rhyno and traded for another Champ Rhyno, a little bit stiffer. I love the Champion plastic ones for driving off the tee on short holes and short mid-range shots, especially at my home course which is heavily wooded. The DX ones are my go-tos for putting b/c they feel much better in the hand, but they are so damn HARD! I really, really wish I had 50-70 bucks to drop on an SE Rhyno b/c from what I understand, that's where it's at when it comes to Rhynos...great feel/grip and soft so as to not bounce out of the basket.

So...I'm not reallly answering your question above...more like adding to it...are SE Rhynos worth the dough?

I'd say try a ProLine. They're very nice. Grippy and flexy and a good bit cheaper than SE.

I have a few of the white Pro Rhyno's from DGV.
They absolutely do not feel like R-poop.
A little stiffer and grippy, but not rubbery.

Disclaimer: I am not a Rhyno expert and don't throw them. I do, however seriously HATE R-pro. These do NOT feel like R-Pro to me.
Just my .02

Molnar is not a fraud. His pricing and sales tactics sometimes can be debatable, but he sells good stuff. I have bought tons of stuff from him that would never be listed on his site.

So you don't throw them...are they in your stash for sale/trade?

When the Soft Rhyno came out in the late '90s, I loved them, adopted it as my main putter, and bought ten for practice. Still have 'em. Two in very worn condition (they were the ones I carried with me and used for all putting from 1999-2006 or so), the rest have their stamps clearly visible and about two of them are in fairly good shape.

What do these things go for nowadays?
