Movement in top 10

Looks like I've played 26. I appreciate the international flavor, but DGCR has way more ratings variance than UDisc. Without naming names, there's at least one course on the UDisc 100 that I've played that doesn't even break my 50th percentile. I rely on UDisc more when traveling internationally or when I need to navigate a confusing layout, but DGCR is still the only way to separate the wheat from the chaff among US courses.

a visual description of what i think of udisc's course ratings distribution. I do love the navigation part. I use it all the time.

No way Canyons is number five. Great course. Love it, very very good. Not the fifth best course, not a chance. A couple of other head scratchers on there as well...

Agreed. I loved the Canyons but It's not number 5. I will say I liked it better than BRP, blasphemy, I know.

I'll add to the chorus. Love the canyons, but it's probably not in my personal top 5.

I've played 29 of them.

The fact that all 3 Sabattus courses are listed is silly, I could see including one of them, sure, but all 3? That's a hell of a stretch.

Sorry for the delay, it was a long packing up camp day, and then a long (20 1/2 hours) driving day back to home from Erie, CO, and I'm finally catching up on some stuff.

Wellsbranch: I'll have those reviews out pronto! I try not to put more than one of my reviews on the homepage at a time to keep as many people up there as I can, so I'll probably put out one a day for the rest of the courses I played last week.

Others: I didn't mean for my review to be a review of the cost, or of the owners. I tried to make my review about the course. I included information that I thought would affect someone's experience, or help them prepare for their round, but it did not affect my rating (if anything, my experience with the owners only helped). I didn't know I would be playing God and messing with the Top 10 list, but since I could only play 2/3 of the course, and given the conditions of the tee's (especially next to the incredible everything else), I didn't feel like it was on par with Harmony Bend, or Bailey (spoiler alert for that review). I also don't think it had as many memorable hole designs. I didn't put that in the review, even though I waited until after I played all the courses I could play this trip to write it, but i definitely remember some Bailey and Beaver Ranch holes a lot more.

Bucksnort is a beautiful course though (one of the top 5, maybe top 3 I've played so far), and incredibly unique. Absolutely more than a backyard course, and if it's not out of your price range, worth a trip to go solo. I made 3 trips out that 285 corridor or whatever highway it is with all those courses, and loved every one of them.

really one of my take aways from the courses forums is to try canyons

obviously moar appealing to me as im from the midwest and its kinda close

but everyone keeps referencing it like its one of the top 25

Canyons is one of my favorites. Favorite in IL by far, but I haven't played Camden yet. Either way it's an awesome course.

If so, yes it is
And yes you should.

I haven't counted in a long time, but my coaster count is probably still above my course count of 112. Some of them are kiddie coasters... and every one of them was more entertaining than Fun Junktion was.

Just chiming in so i can feel included here in the disc golf/rollercoaster enthusiast combo thing. I'm at 98 roller coasters and I was finally gonna break 100 this year but of course CoRoNaViRuS
