Post Photos of Your Disc Golf Bag

Yeah, Innova and Fade have the elastic but Gorilla Boy, Revo, Pheonix don't. That would be something that drives me nuts, pay $100+ for a bag to have my putter flop around the pocket and always worry about it falling out.

I've never had a worry about my putter falling out of my GB silverback. It's just snug enough to make sure it doesn't "flop around", but also loose enough that it doesn't take much force to take it out, or put it back in. I always had to force my voodoo back into it's pocket when I used the innova standard bag, and it's so nice to be able to slide it in with my GB. I also love the pocket behind the putter pocket that easily fits 2 more putters, and 3 if you don't mind them being snug.

The camera was out , so why not:

Midnight, what happens if your straight fairway driver gets beaten into an understable fairway driver, are you gonna have to re-sharpie that bad boy?

I don't use it very often, so if it does, its going to take a while. Plus, I have another Stalker on stand by to take its place.

24 discs? Per round? Why? ( just wondering. maybe I am missing something)

The multi color Champ teebird is used for the shots that water is in play, but your not throwing directly over it, and the DX's are used for the shots going over the water :) Ive only lost one disc this year, and it wasent even on a "water hole", it hit the ground and rolled a long ways int othe river :\. Ive had about half my discs in the wtaer though :|

Time for a Dragon?

In the middle of the "lake" thing, theres an island, i threw a dragon in on hole number one, expecting it to float around to 13 so i could get it back, it got stuck on the island:wall: It was only out there ~2 feet at first, but by the time i got to it, it was 20 feet out, so i figure that it is better to have it stay where i know i can find it again.

No need for a Dragon Midnight. Just use old discs that you don't love anymore like you would have an old girlfriend back in the day. Sure you don't want to bring her out in public, but on the right night, she's the right tool for the job. And if she gets a little wet or muddy, no harm done. You already moved on anyway!

I did this about a week ago on my Innova Deluxe Bag and it turned out GREAT! I taped the perimeter of the bag about 1 in up and put 2 coats on the bottom, the 1 inch showing of the sides and the bottoms of the side pockets (since they are raised already I didn't go up the sides of them). I put a 3rd coat on the bottom only but I don't think I really needed it. I just figured I had it out so why not...

I used a foam brush that just fit in the can. Worked perfectly. If you do multiple coats over long periods of time (I let each coat dry 1.5 hours), wrap the brush in Saran Wrap to stop the plastic coating from drying and ruining your brush for the next coat.

Results are exactly as yours. 1st coat absorbed into the fabric. It looks kind of strange and you might question your decision at this stage but don't stop here... Second coat stayed above the fabric and forms the waterproof barrier. Third coat is just candy on the jelly roll on the cake.

Cost of Plasti Dip (Home Depot $2 cheaper than Lowes).........$6.99
Cost of foam Brush..............................................................69

Awesome implementation of awesome idea.......................Priceless

Sorry, haven't taken a picture yet, but thanks for the great idea.

Have your bag been exposed to any high heat situations since you used that stuff?

My Revolution bag came with sort of the same coating on the bottom, and when it sat in my trunk for a couple hot Tennessee summer days, the rubber actually MELTED, and left a spot of tar on the carpet of my trunk.

No, I'm in MA and it's only spring now. I keep my bag in the trunk so I'll let you know if I have any problems. So far so good with rain and dirty grounds. Just a quick wipe and off I go.

sir raff, i did the plastidip also, no "high" heat to my knowledge but i cant see this stuff remelting...
i tried with a lighter just for kicks and it doesn't seem to get soft or run, it will char though :)

not sure if you used the same thing or not, but are you sure this was purely heat caused? i could see a chemical helping more than heat, either way sorry to hear bout your mess

i'll post some pics of my bag again this week, i've played alot - i'm unemployed and i'm averaging 15 - 20 games a week since i've done this, i dont see anything to be concerned about yet, this stuff is tough
