I did some field throws and they were nice and straight, a lot like a longer Ion except maybe a hair less stable than the current run Ions. The field throws didn't show up well at all. I'll still put something together tonight...just debating on going to Oak Ledges or not. I'd rather do it tomorrow since I didn't sleep last night....but it's supposed to rain.

A longer Ion is just perfect! Should fit well next to my understable Fuse then. I just can't wait to remove my cardboard placeholder and put the real thing in.

I am curious how it handles slight headwind. My GL Core is sensitive to some headwind where I have to hyzer flip a bit. How far can you throw those Axis?

Take your time Mike. Those profile pics should have us busy for a while! Thanks for those.

THIS!!???

I love the glide and straightness of the Core, but headwinds are very unkind to it. I've been using my Pain more and more because of that, but sometimes I don't want the Pain fade.

CMD2's do have a microbead....

and yeah when I saw it I thought MD2, it's more concave than the MD2 but the resemblance is definitely there.

So it does. After looking at my Qms against this Axis picture, the resemblance is uncanny. The Axis looks like a Qms with a bead and slightly more dome.

I'm getting "very" excited about this now. ;)

I'm heading of town on the 16th on vacation!!! Damn. I'd love to get my grubby little paws on one for my vacation road trip. I wonder if UPS ships to a crappy little fishing cabin on Lake Champlain??? Sloppy has some research to do...

Well I passed out so no course throws tonight, but here's a rough video I put together of the more passable field throws. Most the throws were into a slight headwind btw.

anybody with their hands on one care to take a jab at flight ratings?

Looks like there's some slight dome on there, that's good to see. I was afraid they'd be super flat like some of the 1st run Vectors.
