Face Book Disc Golf Game

Disc golf is now on Face book. Play 18 holes in challenge mode and post your score to your wall. This game is in development and more will be added based on feed back. We are working on improving the disc flight and adding a mode to make it harder over the next 2 months. we also plan to add characters and different throw types and improve the bugs as we continue.

The game looks pretty good. The phsyics aren't bad. The control isn't intuitive enough, though, for me to really do anything but chuck the disc around the holes. Looks cool, though.

Cool to see a disc golf game on Facebook. Game needs a ton of work though, controls are horrible. Need the ability to be able to throw FH and BH. But keep up the good work and I am sure all I have listed will be fixed at some point in time.

In what way are the controls horrible. there is a learning curve to them for sure. You use the arrows to turn left or right. You aim with the disc tilt back or down or tilt the disc left or right. you click to start to aim then let go then and as the meter moves you hit space. For me I dont think the controls are that horrible, but since ive been playing from ealry on, Im used to them so that is an unfair comment for me to say there not. I'm curious though how we could improve the controls to make it less horrible and more intutive? I shot a 44 which is not bad. Once you get the hang of the controls it is fun and addictive. its not a precise game and I'm not sure we should make it too easy. But the team is interested in feed back and will take any advice on how to imporve the controls and or the game it self. thanks fro your comment based on this we plan on improving over the next few months.

nice graphics. Hard to figure out how to throw. Driver doesn't go very far at all. Good start, keep it up. Enojoyable at work when you can't go play for real!

haha a movie would be helpful. I did just figure it out and it makes is A LOT better now that I know how to throw. Not much fade or anything but does get lots of distance. Once you get better flight characteristics that should fix that. I'll post my score shortly.

I'll work on a tutorial and a video this week to help show the controls and game concepts.

Also click on the bag in the upper left corner and you can change the discs. We will eventual add disc stats to each of these that will affect disc flights too in a later build. Ill keep the sight posted with each new release.

Nice job, fun play for the first time through.

I think the putting from short distances should be easier. Also maybe something to show how much distance a 100% throw of a disc (driver,mid,putter) will be. It is tough to judge distances without just getting the 'feel' for it after multiple plays. Could discourage first time players. Good stuff though. Oh, and maybe option to turn off the music but leave on the sound effects. I like the OB rule where you have to re-throw, don't change that Wish the real rulebook would adopt this.

I love that I can throw a high shot that goes for 450 ft. and doesn't turn or fade. Wish I could do that in real life..
