900 is the cut off for rec. If the player signed up before the rating update was made and he was under 900 at sign up, then he is clear. I still think he should be player INT though.

I am coming from Tulsa to play and will in town all weekend, looking for some good courses close by to play on Sunday before heading home. Any local favorites or suggestions?

Rockwall is one of the top in the area. Also Cedar Hill, McKinney, Duncanville is tough, and several good ones near Fort Worth. Where will you be staying?

Staying pretty close to Turner in the Irvington and Grand Prairie area. I've heard great things about Rockwall and then lots of talk about Veterans park? Thanks for the suggestions Brad looking forward to meeting some new folks and playing some Texas golf!

Yeah Verterans is good, only about 15 minutes from Turner. Rockwall is 25-30 minutes east of Dallas so its a little out of the way. If you have time, play Veterans then stop by McKinney on your way home (I assume you are going up 75). Are you Richard? I saw a guy signed up for ADV from OK. Maybe we will be on the top card together after round one.

Yeah i'm Richard, i'm not expecting to be top card though. I'm just hoping to play a new course and have some fun. Seems like an awesome turn out i'm excited to play the course been looking at pic's online and it doesnt seem to do it justice from what everyone is saying.

Really solid advanced field so far for this one. Shaine is only rated in the 930s but he may be the man to beat.

You may be right up there on top card. You've got a pretty solid rating.

If you can finish the front 11 holes and be under par (playing all par 3, not course par) then that is the goal. Holes 12-18 is where your score can start sky rocketing very quickly. I was -3 after 11 the other day and finished +6 if that tells you anything. I would have probably thrown safer shots in tournament play and not added quiet as many strokes as I did, but that just shows you how tough it can be.

Yeah it looks like it, i feel like a bagger with my rating but never playing the course before i think i'll be right in the middle with everyone. Do you know if the baskets are in the positions for the tournament?

Yeah she is Tara Hadick, it's her first real tourney. She's only been playing for 7-8 months but she's pretty good. She's excited to have a good female turnout!

I am excited too! First SLD tourney I have seen more than 3 other gals besides me!! I think we have maybe two more that will sign up the day of.

Yeah they are, I asked DeWayne about it. He said everything will stay the same but hole 10 will be moved to the longs...it was short last weekend, not sure if it has been moved to the long yet or not.

Yeah looks like 5 in intermediate womens already! Amazing how many people are signed up and looking like some great weather too!

I'll probably be low mid playing field, and I'll probably have my goods with me... so bring me out some gems people! Especially night shift destroyers *cough cough*. And I may have to designate myself a spot in the trunk or bed of your vehicle back to ttown richard. Go back to where the fun is.

I lived there in 09. . Only played my first full round up there right after riverside reopened in 09.
