Best Long Distance Floater?

Floats in water? Dragon?

Hmmm floats in the air? Roadrunner?

Bought a #2 Driver based on a previous Midnight post, and it goes great for me. Really straight and long, and I am not a power guy. No doubt I'll find out how well it floats Saturday at Copperhead #6 in Vidor, TX.

I think #6 in Copperhead is one of the trickiest holes I have ever played. The #2 Driver should work well for you on that hole. You also might want to invest in a Hydra for a "floating " midrange/putter. I carry one for holes like that , in case I miss.

Well, I don't play many places where I putt close to water, so I'll make do with the #2 if its a tricky putt, otherwise I'll put the VooDoo gris-gris on the basket.

I think it'd be an Odyssey Ultra Long Range Driver.

Quest says the Double D floats in weights under 166g. I've seen Double D's float, but they say a lot of things.

I also had a BTS 166g Pro Wraith that surprisingly floated.. that could've been an anomaly though.

So, why does discgolfcenter.com say it doesn't float? The Odyssey that is link

R-Pro Boss weights under 150g floats

so thats the longest, and the only floating disc that people don't carry just be cause it floats....

You guys need to quit making my thread dirty or I'll throw you in the crack on hole 8.
