I'm waiting for my Axis to arrive (thanks kfrad and fishy!) And was just wondering what to expect. Did the Axis replace anything in your bag, did it make it's own spot, or not make it?

No it is not, and with how much love I have for my fuse and multiple midnight buzzz's (and now gators) i just don't have anymore room for a mid.

Yep, fits perfectly b/w my 1st Run Vector (must fade mid) and my beat to hell Opto Fuse (must turn mid). It's like a beat Teebird, effortlessly straight and always pushing forward.

I took out my Buzzz SS and replaced it with the Axis. I would say the Axis has more turn and less fade than the Buzzz SS, for me anyway.

Nope, but excellent disc. I'm too hooked on my Elements and FLX Buzzz for wooded shots, and I just started testing Gateway's new Mystic and Karma mids.

The Axis is sometimes in and sometimes out of the bag. I prefer it on windy days, but I like the Core when it's calm and the Ibex in the woods.

I spread my money around.

I have both a new run axis and a first run axis. it goes well with my first run vector and new run vector.

They replaced my rocs and cobras.

The Axis ended up replacing both my Fuse and Buzzz. My original green FR Axis is quite flippy now, and I carry a newer red/orange FR that is a good deal more stable. I use the green one for finesse shots and the other for when I want more of a power shot or in the wind. I supplement them with a pair of Vectors.

my fr green i ordered has a limey yellow tint to it. idk if its truly a green they sentr me. But its a little flatter then the new run.

That's what the FR greens are like...MVP's been mixing up colors a little and not all greens/yellows are the same. My green eclipse Vector is much greener than my FR Axis.

Didn't make the bag, for me. I found the rim a bit too shallow for my liking. Plus, it's tough to beat the Comet/Roc combo.

Were it in a lower weight and I could fling it a little easier, then we might be having a different conversation.

Maybe its me but ive been throwing heavy (174-180) since i started and dont mind it. I could probably get more distance lighter but in the end i think its better to stick with 174+.
