I forgot the platebee for a while. Once it reentered my thoughts, it was nowhere to be found. When venturing into the abyss that is generally considered a closet, I spotted it safely nestled with my tent and pack high up on the top shelf beyond my reach. Talk about a not so subtle sign that I've lost sight of my other side.

We'll see what the next couple of weeks bring, I'm hoping for cooler weather and a meditative solo camping trip... And less melodramatic emails.

My closets are all neat. It's the stuff that doesn't fit in them spilling out onto the floor area in front of the closets that makes them appear unkempt.

Still, that *IS* a nice hat, and I am pleased that the adventure of Platebee continues... if nestled on a shelf in a half-empty closet can be called "adventure."
