Disc Golf Cart Pictures and ideas

Yea, and it's been raining so much as of late that I see people using the umbrella often.

Abilene is only 2 or so hours from me, maybe I can make a trip out there and play some golf.

I like the look of your setup. My concern is with the solid tires. We have sand and one of the courses has some bumpy terrain. Have you had the cart through sand our bumps?

I wouldn't make a special trip to play the existing courses but if the new course ever gets approved it may be worth a trip

I have not, due to all the rain the normal course that I would play that handles rain is currently a lake. When I make it over to Lake Park I will let you know the outcome, I have high hopes for it though. I have taken it through mud and muck and some off camber terrain and it handles it very well. The cart is very stable with nothing added to hold the bag down. I did have to pick the whole cart with bag up because I took the wrong path and it was light and well balanced. Plus it folds up and fits in my wife's car making transport that much easier.

Sports Authority had a 20% off sale so I ordered one. I added a 68" Suntek umbrella. Hopefully this will keep me out of the Florida Sun this summer. I watched a YouTube review that showed a woman push it through a sand trap and up a steep hill with heavy rough so I'm hopeful.

Right on, I am really liking mine, I have taken it on 6 rounds so far and haven't had a problem with it yet! I still have yet to take it through real sand. Hope you enjoy yours as much as I enjoy mine. OH, if you have a car that you are transporting it in, get a towel, floormat, anything to set it on, the wheels can pick up mud.

Have you got your cart yet? I have had the pleasure of having my cart in sand and rough rocky uneven conditions, it worked like a charm. I noticed instead of pushing the cart, sometimes it is easier to pull a wheelie and pull the cart through terrain.

Yes I've had it out twice now and absolutely love it. I used the same part as you to raise the umbrella a bit, and it works well. I haven't played the course with really rough terrain yet, but it has handled everything I've thrown at it so far. Love staying out of the sun and not having to bend over to select discs. I'll be adding an AO Soft Sided Cooler and a larger backpack (UPD Rebel) as soon as they come in. So glad you posted your cart here. :hfive: Thanks for the help too!

AWESOME! Glad you are enjoying your cart. When you attach your cooler take a picture of it and post it up here so I can copy it, we will call it an even trade. :hfive:

Looks like my BB Quad. Mine is an older model. I just started using the umbrelly holder. No idea why I waited so long. I'll have to take a pic next time I have it out.

You guys still liking your BB Quads? After a little more use anymore pros/cons come to mind? I am about to order myself one for Father's day and just wanted to double check.

I took my BB Quad out for the third time this weekend. I played the course with the very bumpy uneven terrain I was concerned about and it handled it well. Ran over palmetto stumps, through sand, and muddy areas, and it handled it all. I can't think of any cons at this point. I ran it through grass at the end and the wheels were pretty much self cleaning. Unless you run it through mud or wet areas right at the end dirty wheels shouldn't be too much of a problem. I would honestly give it 5/5 stars so far.

This dude at my local course had a pretty cool rig set up lol. He turned a remote control truck in to a disc carrier. Not very practical but humorous

Ran into this guy on Sunday at Fritz Park. Pics really don't do it justice...

It's powered by a Ryobi rechargeable 18V battery attached to a hand throttle, which then activates the Ryobi drill motor under the bag that drives the chain to the front tire. I'm pretty sure the area under the fan is a cooler. You also can't see the 'driver' area has a foldable car window shade over it too but you can see the square of shade that provides in one of the pics. His buddy had a similar set up without the motor but did have a fan, not sure what powered that.

I'm assuming the frame is aluminum since it appeared really lightweight. I wished I had had more time to ask about time to build, cost, etc but had my 2-yr old with me and he only gives me about 30-40 minutes to play before fussy starts.

The Bag Boy quad is also great for ball golf too... I wonder if the quad plus console piece would fit on my older quad...

Added an Upper Park Designs Rebel to my Bagboy Quad setup. It is a really nice bag for this cart. I have an AO soft cooler that I can hang behind the bag on the other side of the vertical tubes, but when full makes the cart feel feel like it could tip back easier than I would like. I'm thinking about adding a couple pounds to the very front of the cart when using the cooler. Will be keeping an eye out for an inconspicuous easy to attach weight.
