I voted rock/stick (whatever I can find) because that's what I typically use, but I do have a sack with about a dozen baseballs in the trunk of my car I could go get if the disc is really stuck.

what is the one thing that most dg'ers carry with them that is probably the best thing POSSIBLE to get discs out from a tree!?!

WATER BOTTLE!!!!

I saw two guys get two more discs stuck in a tree while trying to get one out of the tree. At least they got some practice throwing overhead shots.

I know 2 guys who would call you every single time you threw your putter.
I would not call you on it, but I would laugh my arse off and not help you get your putter down when it gets stuck.

Don't really play tournaments so I will not be picking up that call. I do however have a couple putters so unless its some crazy cypress tree I should be ok.

I haven't gotten a disc stuck in a tree in some time now, but Ive helped others get theirs out and have done so just by climbing up there and grabbing them.

1. Thumber disc (got stuck as well)...duh
2. Sticks, rocks, beer bottles found in the woods... hits the disc and wedges it in to the pine needles.
Step 3. Climb said tree.

While playing in Buffalo I threw my entire bag (filled) at a disc stuck in a tree. The bag stuck in the tree. It has been 4 years and my friends still mention it when a disc gets stuck in a tree.

The half full water bottle is the best. Flies like a missile when thrown underhand and almost always comes down. It isn't as harmful to things it hits either. I saw a guy gouge his disc pretty badly with a rock.

lol at some of these options. Ya i regularly carry a baseball with my while I'm frolfing. Me and the 9 other people on the planet :D

Tape measure only goes out about 60-80 inches before it collapses. Anyone play that game as a kid? lol

Putter. Jump putt. Or I'll tomahawk of my drivers at it. If that doesn't work, I'm climbin that bitch
