Hole Length Game

For whatever reason, I fell back into the notion of this thread today at lunch. Maybe it's the long winter, snow last night and freezing rain expected tomorrow night. Blech.

But I searched for the next number (863') and got this listing at the top of the Google results:

I don't have an 865 footer but I have played that course, that may be my favorite hole 18 of all time... especially because when I played it there was a 20 MPH right to left crosswind/headwind,/ and I threw my first and second shots perfectly, ending up with one heck of an eagle to put me -1 (it played really really hard with that much wind)
Pardon the digression but I couldn't help it, that's a man sized hole that's a blast to play. Was my first and only time playing it.

So we're looking for 865, with the following 18 distances missing: 736, 754, 758, 766, 769, 781, 791, 806, 809, 828, 829, 833, 838, 841, 845, 851, 857 and 859 (which if done properly, would make a helluva course).

Beats the only 736' hole we can find, being the hole it's absence leaves in our list. :\

I'm expanding Blatnick Park DGC to 18 and one of the new holes along the Mohawk measures approximately 733". I'm gonna go out and move the tee back 3 feet.

Or, stick a mando pole 67 feet (5 degrees) off-line halfway down the fairway. That'll add 3 feet to the intended route, plus add interest

It's one of the new holes so it's only a tee board to move. Sleeves go in next week so I'll have a pic with a basket soon.

Ashe County Park is my home course. Pretty sure you mean hole 16 at Ashe County Park in Jefferson NC. Hole 14 White is 265'.
