So i just realized i have one of Ben Askren's discs he lost a few years ago i tried getting ahold of him but no response he's the cage fighter who also plays disc golf I'm just curious do you think this will be a collectable one day or not

that name means nothing to me so it won't be worth anything in my opinion. but good for you for posting here to try and get it back to him. :)

I forgot i had it but seen his name on Facebook and i was like I've heard that name before went and looked sure enough it was him lol but he's never responded so i guess I'll keep it he's the welterweight champ or something

If he does want it back you better give it to him. He beats people up for a living. Actually he beats up people who beat up people for a living.

prolly more than one person in the world with that name. might not be his disc, which would explain why he didn't respond back.

Guy had a great fight the other night. I don't see how one persons ability to recognize his name determines value though..

TBH I would bet that a lot more know who Ben Askren is than any disc golfer. He holds a belt in one of the top fighting venues and will end up in the UFC. I saw him in the corner of a fighter the last UFC on FOX. Oh and hes an Olympian..

I would contact discraft to may get it back to him or maybe a player from WI on here knows him.

He get a belt in the UFC though... It's gonna be worth than any other pros disc.

If the spelling is Ben Askren, it's more than likely the Ben Askren MMA fighter. I believe he came in 2nd at the Worlds AM Champs one year, and I assume now that he can relax a bit since he won his fight, he might be playing DG a bit in his down-time.

lol no

He was the headliner in a nationally televised Bellator event this past week, the fight was stopped by the doctor because he ground and pounded the other guy so bad the doctor would not let the fight continue as the other guys eye was a bloody, swollen mess.

I see what you did there...

you wanted to talk about his fight but not in water cooler, so you broight up a disc that may or may not exist. kudos. :)

I dont think it will be worth anything as if it were special. Lots of pros will give away their discs if they have lost them unless its super special to them. Give it time, he's probably just busy and hasnt been able to respond.

You guys are confusing value of a signed used disc and value as sports memorabilia. If he wins a belt in the UFC it will be worth more than any chucker that collects roc3's is willing to pay. The fact that he is a sponsored disc golf pro will just help add to the story of the item.
