Ben askren's lost disc

While the competition is steep in UFC's Welterweight class, Askren isn't a terrible fighter. I agree he couldn't walk right into the title, but he's got some talent.

Send it to the French guy he just pummeled. With a note, "Can you mail this to that pussy, Ben Askren?"

:)

You guys are confusing value of a signed used disc and value as sports memorabilia. If he wins a belt in the UFC it will be worth more than any chucker that collects roc3's is willing to pay. The fact that he is a sponsored disc golf pro will just help add to the story of the item.

He may be a great sportsman and a cool guy lets examine the topic, a used disc found with a name on it.

I did not confuse anything. Few bullet points

1. He is a no name in disc golf a dime a dozen.
2. Is it his disc? is there some certified authentication, how about no making the disc even more useless, why not sharpie his name on a new disc and have another.
3. I have a 3x jk signed/used by jk and was used by val with her sig and pdga# on it was well, does that make it worth anything more.. no

story of the item sounds like trying to make this an episode of pawn stars
Only a fool would buy this.

The value of anything is determined by how much someone is willing to spend on it.
If it is his, at the very least you got a story to go with the disc.

Ken Climo's signature does not add much value to a disc, so I do not see the disc of a cage fighter being worth much in the near future. Now if he wins a major title, there will be some MMA fans that will pay more for the disc than it is worth.

He the reigning Bellator Welterweight champ and has successfully defended his title on several occasions already.

well maybe he has some fans that will pay more. I guess I was thinking when he headlined a Pay-Per-view fight or he has his own action figure :)

Fixed? :p

No offense meant. Bellator is kind of the redheaded stepchild of MMA despite being full of talent.

I heard of him, but only as a fighter who plays disc golf. I have seen his name a few times, but I know what you meant. I do not know very many MMA fighters names.

I did know enough about MMA to find this funny enough to snap a pic:

No one takes the Sharpie from Chuck Lidell.

You guys are cracking me up over this i didn't even know who this guy was till yesterday but the pdga posted something about him and he was a Olympian and ncaa champion so it got me thinking if a disc belonged to a famous person would it be worth something not saying this Guy is famous but just asking

You mean the redheaded stepchild of the UFC? They're both MMA. Pride was also the best out of any company. RIP

They're both MMA, right. Bellator's the less popular and often disrespected MMA series (even more than Strikeforce which is a joke). It has no ties to UFC.

Pride was the best though, I agree. I prefer the ring to the cage.
