[Prodigy] pdga aproves prodigy mids?

I wouldn't mind trying a Roc-ish disc in Prodigy plastic. I don't see any thing overtaking my go-to mid spot, which is currently held by the 180g Roc3.. any time soon.. but right now I'm throwing my Roc3's more than any other disc. So it'd be nice to compare the 2.

I still haven't thrown one. Maybe I'll get a mid.

Crazy John's putting commentary would be priceless!

It's a 320' hole and he's got out his PP. I just don't think he's long enough for go for that. From what I've seen anyway. What do you think Dave? Got any inside info for us? Is he long enough? Dave?

:clap::clap:

LOL...

M-1 is an extremely reliable mid range driver
M-2 is an extremely reliable mid range driver,
M-3 is an extremely reliable mid range driver, designed
M-4 is an extremely reliable under stable mid

I just wish they could make a mid that is extremely reliable.

These descriptions look like they were written by a high school student.

agreed or infomercial talk. obviously your not gonna say this thing doesn't hold a line at all. one throw it goes right the next left, but really extremely reliable 4 times if any of them fail you. you should get your money back.

i don't like the number system. Its just going to get confusing. If you want you could just make them up yourself and write it on the disc.....

D1-D2-D3-D4
F1-F2-F3-F4
M1-M2-M3-M4
P1-P2-P3-P4

And what about when they come out with a driver between D2 and D3? The D2.5???????? lame

I'm hoping they change up the naming convention very slightly by the time they get to their fairway drivers. I'd really like to buy a pair of discs, one slightly understable and one very understable, called the "FU" and the "FU2"

It would be even better if they were very reliable and flew well in all wind conditions.

If they are like every other disc on the market people will be asking which colors are the beefy ones.

Maybe we could all agree on a names for their discs, since Prodigy is too lazy to come up with names themselves. My wife was suggesting they should have used trees. The big distance drivers could be big trees (D1 = sequoia, D4 = baobab). Mids could be smaller trees (M1 = madrone, M4 = aspen). The putters could include the poplar.

I think I will wait for them to be released on betamax in base plastic.

I actually like the way they are naming their discs. Very simple and should make for nice clean stamps.

Except they're going to have a problem with their naming system when they want to create a new disc in the same category that is more stable than an existing one. Lightning kind of ran into this problem with their numbering system. Discmania has kind of gotten around this by giving their discs dual names.

Maybe they are going to just make four molds in each category and call it good?

I just pit coffee on keyboard. ELMAO :thmbup:

When I was reading them I thought the same thing.. "Man, these are the best descriptions ever.." Lol. I do wish the names they came up with were more creative, but meh oh well I guess.

It jive's with Phil Arthur's really REALLY calming, soothing, boring description in the Prodigy intro vid....

I especially like how it compares to Lat's Mace approval description:
"Mace is the latest, and greatest, midrange from Latitude 64°. The flight is steady as a rock and it will be our first midrange produced in both premium plastics and Zero Line." - Latitude 64

"PA-1 is an over stable Putt and Approach disc. This Putt and Approach disc is designed to be over stable. The consistent flight path of this disc makes it a favorite of disc golfers looking for consistency and reliability in all wind conditions.

PA-2 is a stable to over stable Putt and Approach disc. This Putt and Approach disc is designed to be over stable in all wind conditions. The consistent flight path of this disc makes it a favorite of disc golfers looking for reliability in all wind conditions.

PA-4 is an under stable Putt and Approach disc. It is designed for all players and skill levels. The PA-4 will turn up when thrown hard and will then have a long glide and gentle turning finish." - Prodigy Disc

Well, that means that the PA-4 doesn't have a consistent flight path right? ;)
