Will this devolve into a discussion of the many versions of the poop, like the slow overstable Constipated Poop, or the super fast Diarrhea, or the Earth friendly and less rare than thought, Green Poop?

Yes.

Putter:
Rabbit Poop - For those quick jump shots into the hole

Midrange:
Shart - A little more than a Buzzz

Driver:
Bird Poop - Flies a little shorter than a TeeBird, because you know, it came FROM the TeeBird

So let me get this straight:

A company with an actual novel idea comes on the scene and we're nitpicking their GRAMMER??? Seriously people? I know we're all a little burned out after the whole Prodigy debacle of over-promising and under-delivering, but these guys actually seem to have an interesting concept. Instead of taking a wait and see attitude people around here want to jump on tiny flaws like spelling and grammar.

Frankly I'd rather deal with a company that actually seems to have a plan to do something different in our sport, despite their less than perfect grammar as opposed to a group of people who talk up how revolutionary their products will be and then deliver a handful of discs that closely mimic products by other companies, regardless of how perfect their grammar and spelling may be.

Let's just wait for June and see how things go for SD.

Good to know you have an open mind :) i still cant fully grasp the engineering behind prometheis

I would throw the sh*t out of that shart!

Also, make Puckstopper a tester only if he gives me his discs after use, as I am also in Columbus, and you could get twice the testing bang for your buck!

OR send them to me first, then I will send them on to puckstopper. One person beats them up, the other gets to sell or trade or donate them after the non-discloser agreement (if testers even sign those) is up.

So with all of the sponsored pro movement a few months ago who is left? Or maybe go the MVP route and cater pretty much to the ams.

Trust me, Prodigy could benefit from grammar lessons, too. While it may not be a big deal to you, it makes a difference to others.

That said, I am not so naive to think that people won't throw good discs because of some mistakes in the promotional materials, so I understand your point. However, I refuse to abandon the conventions of our language just because it might hurt someone's feelings, or because it was posted from a smartphone (which I am doing right now, too.)

End rant. Happy sunshine and plastic to all!

1. Consistency run discs with temp, humidity, climate controlled ISO certified injection molding, which includes robotic disc extrusion from the mold as well as exact removal times dramatically decreasing disc flaws (PLH, warping, inconsistent doming).

I have talked about ISO certified manufacturing lacking in our sport. Could be a GAME CHANGER. hmmmm

Yes.

Don't forget about The Urinator - the number 1 disc in disc golf.

I guess I am the only nerd which is excited about the fact that the process's which they use to mold will be ISO certified. That means documented control procedures which result in consistent results. WOO!!! About f'n time. What certification are you going to be under? 5001, 9001?

P.S. If you guys ever need help in processing ISO documents to continually be set for the inspections you must pass, let me know. I did that for a couple years for a few different companies (all of which are still ISO certified).

Ditto, true standardization for our sport is a necessity.

I don't really think the grammar thing is that big of a deal. They haven't even had an official announcement yet. Besides, it's not as if your post is free of grammatical errors either. It's easier to make mistakes than many people realize.

I'm really looking forward to seeing these giant discs. Just as a point of reference, the Innova Gopher is approved to 190.1 g, and it has a diameter of 22.9 cm. The Comet only has a diameter of 21.8 cm. This is going to be one giant driver.

A larger diameter driver isnt a bad thing, with a larger diameter you can reasonably ascertain that these discs will go further.

Just playing devil's advocate here...

I had no idea what ISO was until I googled it today after reading this thread. It instantly reminded me of my line of work, in health care. There are mountains of accreditations, certificates, continuing education curricula, state regulations...etc...that are in place so the staff, and the facility can perform at the highest level possible. Guess what. The nurse taking care of you with all those fancy letters after the name on her badge can (and does) still kill you with the wrong medication all the time.

Just because something, or someone is certified doesn't guarantee the highest quality product, or service.

Having said that...it is pretty cool that SD has gone through the trouble of the certification process. It shows they mean business, and quality is a top priority.

I'm actually really excited to see what these guys can do. I've been saying for years that the only way a new high speed driver would revolutionize the game was if it was a larger diameter. The limits of 13-14 speed drivers are being met and the only way to truly get more distance is with larger discs.

LMAO at the idea of me testing anything. Not that I wouldn't like to, I'm just nowhere near good enough. I just liked the comment about all of the beggers needing signs. Although when I think about it, that would be a funny contest. Best sign wins a spot on someone's team of testers.

Man what a year.

But this disc sounds ahead of the times, so I'm not suprised I jumped ahead a few months.

Truthfully, I'm excited to see it, feel it, and give it a toss
