Lastly, even once you can rip drivers, the distance gap isn't as big as you might expct. e.g. on a typical day open field throwing at a comfortable power level I could be looking at 370' putter, 390' mid, 420' teebird, 440' Volt, 480' D2. So only about 100' difference between a putter and distance driver.

here is a quote from mikec and I would like to see what distances you guys get between each speed of disc. and here the distances should be golf distance for like a hyzer shot not max d, but if u could post some distances for each type of disc then a max d length I think this could be pretty interesting..
mine are:
putter:275 aviar
mid: 325 wasp
fairway: 375 teebird
distance: 415 wraith
MaxD: 450ish tern

I never really saw listed disc speeds as notations of distance. They are more representative of the speed required to obtain the expected or optimal performance. I am not sure what stops you from throwing a Wraith 450ish, if you can put your Tern out that far. But, I don't have the arm for 12/13 speed discs either.

im just wanting to know the differences from putter to distance driver.. such as mine is about 140 feet while mikec's is 110

Wizard - 300'
Roc - 340'
PD - 400'
Boss - 450'

That's golf lines, I can push all of those out further in the field but the gap is similar for my max distance with each of those.

BB Aviar - 350'
Roc - 385'
Teebird - 450'
Destroyer - 475'
For some reason I can't throw putters that well, I'm still looking for a stable mold & plastic that works fir me. These are the distances I can get consistently on flat ground no wind. My max distance with my drivers is around 20' farther & I'd assume its about the same with my Mids & Putters also. My gap between my Aviar & Destroyer is around 125'.

Pure: 350'.
Underworld: 550'.

That's internet distance. Realistic distance based on field work yesterday:

Pure: 150'.
Buzzz: 200'.
Gazelle: 250'.

Seems like it's about a 100' difference for most people. I was consistently grouping my Buzzzes and Gazelles together about 25-50' apart (and a good 100' to the left of where I wanted to group them :wall:).

P2 - 320'
Buzzz - 350'
Avenger - 415'

That's pretty much all I throw. I can get some higher speed stuff out to 430ish, but I don't keep it in the bag.

Wooded fairway distance comparisons (golf line):
XD: 260'
Lycan: 300'
TL: 350'
StarFire: 375'
Rampage/Lace: 420'

Open field just watching them fly:
XD: 310'
Lycan: 350'
TL: 385'
StarFire: 400'
Rampage/Lace: 475'

Disc Golf Lines

Rhyno - 290
Buzzz SS - 340
TL - 370
Destroyer (some version) - 415.

So about 130' Almost always pull out an eagle or TL instead of a driver if there is any risk.

distance with control:

wizard: 300
roc:350
fd: 400
pd: 425
D1: 450

of course i am not always throwing these discs that far, but if i need to i can, sometimes more.

Ion/judge: 175
Truth:250
Underworld:275
Trespass: 300
Lace:330, one time yesterday, hopefully that sticks!

on the course

opto pure/pa4 - 280, according to signs
axis/fuse - 315
OLF/Patriot - 400

on the football field

opto pure - 270-300
axis/fuse - 285-330
OLF/patriot - 330 - 360
Rival-300-330

tee signs probably aren't that accurate.
