I think the main objection people have is not that the girls aren't pretty enough or whatever, but that the ad is poorly done and is incredibly tacky. Disc golf doesn't get as much exposure as us hardcore players would like to see, so when something like this comes along there's usually a good supply of mild outrage to go with it. A swimsuit calendar for Disc Golf isn't a bad idea per say, but it needs to be handled with a bit more class to be accepted by the majority of discers. I do agree that the negative comments about the girls themselves are equally tasteless however. They certainly aren't ugly and it likely comes down to the fact that these guys didn't have the money to edit them like most magazines do to make them look like Barbie dolls.
On a side note, FYI, Holly IS a professional model and disc golfer, so she should probably be allowed some clout in the discussion when all is considered.
I'd like to extend that logic and say that NONE of the low/no-budget productions that DG loves to churn out make the sport look attractive. It looks underfunded, which in this age means it sucks. This is how you portray a sport on the same level as sh!t-tier oil filters.
Pagers are still around, depending on where you work. I just got rid of my personal pager a couple of years ago.
The fact that she is a model was why I commented. Seems like the kettle didn't like the blackness of the pot.
I disagree that the calendar needed to be handled with more class. No ones going to notice that calendar except us unless one of those girls get famous.
this is so dumb
maybe the dumbest calendar ever
btw does anyone actually buy a calendar anymore?

I get the Krispy Kreme calendar every year because it has tons of really great coupons that more than make up for the $5 it cost. I eat lots of grease.
