I like the Pinnacle ghost mold instead of the roc3. Just wish the plastic was a little grippier.

I have sort of noticed a plus feel to my factory store pro roc3's compared to my champ and dx. All the rest are standard. What plastic were yours in? For what it's worth, that is the one disc that I don't mind the plus feel. Still wish I'd bought a stack of dx instead of pro and star roc3's though :/
I recently picked up 2 roc3s to try out and they were plus mold, not a fan. I recently switched to excel ghosts and I love them. The plastic feels terrible at first but once you work them in they feel great.
All the ROC3's are plus molded
definitely not plus mold. normal Roc's I have seen lately are though, but not Roc3's.False. Roc3's are not plus molded. McBeth has even said that they are not. Its just you looking for a reason to hate the disc.
They may not be the full tilt plus molding angle of the ROC+...but just flip one upside down and see for yourself. It's a slightly slanted rim.
McBeth is marketer-in-chief for Innova --it's why he throws a nova when he's up 14 strokes-- you can't take everything he says as unbiased gospel. Especially when he has a stake in the sales of that disc. Innova sales on the roc+ were dismal so I can see why they want to avoid that stigma on their hot Roc3.
Why would Paul McBeth have to come out and say they aren't plus molded (which could be true if it's somewhere in-between + and normal) If the rim didn't look and feel that way to players?
I respect the hell out of Paul but not over my own two hands and eyes. Currently holding a CFR, a big bird, and a glow. The rims are slanted. Sorry.
if we are talking current production runs, then Roc3 all the way. If we are talking old Rocs vs Roc3 then old Rocs win out over almost everything.

Not all discs slant the same degree. Outside plus molds, I challenge you to find an Innova mold that has a rim as slanted as the Roc3.
The Roc3's are slanted somewhere in between the plus mold and the rancho (close to 90). The difference is notable. Ghosts line up much more closely on rim slant.
Don't take my word for it. Dot the edge of the bead and directly behind it where the rim meets the flight plate. Line those two dots up at eye level like a gun sight. Whatever angle you have to hold the disc at to make these points line up is the rim slant.
