Keen Nasu

I wore keen delas last season, never tempted to use them as walkaround shoes and honestly regretted purchasing them.
I tried on a pair of marshalls and promptly ordered a few pairs of nasus (too many?). Very comfortable and the tread works well driving from pavement. Toes seem well enforced but haven't tested them in the wet/mud yet.

Got mine Friday and played a hilly dirt course the next day. They're way lighter than my Delas and the grip was as expected. I tried on a pair of Marshall WPs before I decided on the size since I heard they were the same. The Nasu was a little looser in fit than the Marshalls. My feet didn't slip at all inside like I thought they would.

Lighter, grippy and comfortable. My feet are extremely happy.

My buddy just bought some Marshalls. He loved them for 10 rounds. Then the yellow layer of the sole started coming loose. Keen replaced them, but for the sole to come apart so fast, I'm surprised Keen chose the Marshall to rebrand as The DG shoe.

Sorry if this question was answered already but when buying the Delas you had to go a 1/2 size bigger...is that still true for the Nasu or are they true to your normal foot size?

Like this? Or worse? This is only happening on my push foot (left for, rhbh) on the inside edge lugs

Yep. Just like that. Except his wears on the outside of the right foot. Its already doing what the picture shows after just 3 rounds with his new replacement pair. He says he's cool with it, but he's also blaming it on his form. I say he's just making lemonade, and his form is not causing the rubber of the sole to be too soft.

I've been finding Marshall WPs for cheaper at various online sites, so if (when?) my Delas finally bite the dust, I might have to go with them. If I can find Nasus' for the same price as Marshalls, I guess I'd have to go with them to support DG.

The only downside to the Delas for me, and its a pretty big downside, was the lack of color options. My feet do not take black shoes very well. I've had to swap out the lining probably ten or eleven times since I got them because the shoes would just reek after a tournament out in the sun.

That said, I've had mine for two years now and they are still holding strong, though the tread is starting to wear down pretty noticeably...

I'm of both sides...it's my push foot, so it rotates, as I push off it. On one hand, if its soft enough, that it's wearing already, that sucks. On the other...they're comfortable, and I'd rather not had super hard soles...It's not delaminating, so I, y'know, I can't be too mad that my high amount of induced abrasion is abrading the edge of the rubber...:\
I'll probably send that pic in, and just suggest, that in the next iteration, the edges be more solid/wide tread. Cause those lugs are pretty thin...

I've said before, my only issue after 2.5 years with the deals, was that the membrane broke somewhere, so they waterproofness in my toe is gone...otherwise, they held up great

I think I'm going to order a pair of Nasu. My question is about size. They say true to size, but for some reason my shoes are all over the place. The only Keen I ever put on my foot was my buddy's DeLas. What size should I order??

Running shoes - 10.5
Skecher casual shoes - 10.5
Dress shoes - 10.5
Merrell Moab ventilator - 11
Buddy's Keen Delaveaga - 11 was Too Small

I tried them on at REI and a size 11.5 fit me the best. I usually wear 10.5-11 in casual style and skate shoes. I found the black and red Marshall's on Amazon for $88 with free shipping. I cant wait to try them out on the course.

Thanks! I'm going to try and find somewhere with Marshalls to try on. I'd hate to order and it be the wrong size. Too much hassle

I tried the Marshalls WP at REI and the 10's (my size) were too small. I decided to get the Nasu in 10.5 and were too big. I tried to exchange but Keen said no, even though they're website says "30 Day return, no questions asked". I should've just said I didn't want them.

I'm getting used to them now, but wish that they were a little more snug.

Why did they say no? I've never had a problem with their CS, and I've bought many shoes directly from them.
