If you had to play a round with only 1 disc

very much dependent on the course-
very short course- aviar p&a
typical par 3 course- probably a beat roc
long course- proline leopard

To really be able to do the one disc round, you would have to use a disc that you can throw hard and also throw eaisier, and still be able to control it. The pro leopard would also be a good choice.

I played in a 1 disc tourney where everyone was handed a Dart at the beginning. It was a pretty good choice. I can throw it further than my aviars, almost as far my roc, but it is still a great approach disc and a better putter than most midranges and certainly most drivers.

I've also played rounds with just an aviar, and usually only shoot 4 or 5 strokes worse than using my whole bag. I think choosing a putter is MUCH smarter than choosing a driver. You lose a lot more strokes blowing approaches and long putts than you do with short drives. It's a rare hole you can't par with a putter. We usually end up tossing our mids and drivers in an attempt to get a birdie.

Every year we have a one disc tournament and one year I used a champ monster and shot a 6 down (48) and won the tournament outright. It's been a running joke amongst my friends how I learned to put upside down with a monster from 40ft out. ;)

surgeSS flx, i throw alot of thumbers and tommies so accurate mid range shots come easy, plus it makes a decent putter because its so flexy
