[Axiom] Axiom Crave, FAIRWAY DRIVER?!

The Crave took the place of my FD. It's a really versatile disc. If it weren't for things like wind I could probably just bag a couple of Craves for all of my fairway needs.

So if i can get my buzzz out to around 230-250 would this disc be worth checking out for extra distance or should I just learn to throw better?

Pretty sure I just answered my own question

The crave is an absolutely perfect step up from any midrange. It goes straight, but further.

Ha I know that problem exactly, electron soft envy and I use a powered down relay, my mid gap isn't very big... but neither is my arm!

My mids are really only in my bag for a couple specific holes around town. The Wasp does get some use as my short FH roller disc but the Plaz Tangent is basically a space filler in my Grip AX-15 lol...

I mostly bag a Buzzz for those times I'm just too tired or lazy to smash on an Envy.

So funny. I carry the Atom when I know I'll over-throw a Matrix... and the Crave is in the bag when I want a faster Matrix. But basically I throw a Matrix at everything.

Wow, Crave can go really far if you want to use it as a max distance driver. It's not super flexy, it's pretty laser-esque. A touch flexy. The only fairway I've thrown with legs like that is my Essence, this has impressive reach but without the need to get the angle *just* right.

Kinda wish I'd met this disc before I got into a relationship with Teebird.

The Teebird compares more to the Volt than the Crave for me.

I currently run a Crave/Volt combo. If the wind is up a little or I just don't want to risk leaking too far right or if I want more of a low speed finish I go to the Volt.

Oh, sorry, didn't mean to draw a parallel. I see them as clearly distinct, but it's more of a matter of viewing disc golf as a 3-disc endeavor and I want one driver--Teebird.

I love how straight the Crave is. I can't believe how far I threw it tonight. Ok, I can. It just went Destroyer far, that's all. Badass disc. I could easily see a three disc bag with Crave as the driver (period).

You tried the Relay yet? It's a slightly understable 6 speed that also has an identity crisis. Live the Crave, it also thinks it's a distance driver but somehow also powers down into an easily workable flight at midrange speeds.

Crave and Relay also compliment each other so well, it's almost unnatural, lol.

MVP should make a new category of discs...

"Crave and Relay now available in the new stamp from our Frankendisc lineup."

Come on Zam, I know you're lurking out there... Think of the stamp possibilities...:D
