... you threw light weight 166g yellow/purple, or possibly you have some OAT issues in your form that caused a hyzer release to expose the underside of your disc to the crosswind?

I have thrown a majority of the Outlaw color/weight combos they released in the first runs and the only ones that would turn and drift that far in wind is the 166g yellow or purples which are quite a bit different from the max weights i throw.

Sounds like you can add 167 orange Outlaws to the list of lighter weights that get pushed around by the wind. As I've written before, my heavy white was stable.

pinnacle test run outlaw and the American flag stamp dyed first run numbered outlaw on disc golf black market right now. Just released 10 mins ago. Limited #s

Don't forget about the Skulboy stamped icons at disc nation

Can someone give a Legend Outlaw review compared to Icon other than they should be more OS? My legend gauge is less stable than pinnacle and icon. I have Legend rivals less stable than Pinnacle too.

Also, any difference between first run and second run Outlaws, besides the price?

The only Legend I have thrown is a silver surfer 175g.
Vs Blue Icon 174g (1st run): Legend has more HSS and slightly less fade (still a healthy amount)
Vs Pink Icon 175g (1st run): same HSS (0), pink Icon has more fade
Vs White Icon 174g (1st run): honestly about the same flight

I don't notice any added distance. Sometimes I threw the Legend farthest, but most of the time it was the blue (due to it having some turn at my power level). FWIW, I can get the blue about 415-420.

I ordered 2 second run Outlaws. White 172g and a blue 168g. The white looks like the first runs that I have, fairly flat, same PLH. The blue one has a huge dome. I haven't got a chance to throw them yet since we are having our first real rain in a few years out here in California. Just wondering if anyone else has seen domey Outlaws.

I have a purple 2nd run with a pretty sizable dome. Haven't thrown it yet though... PLH looks like it's in the same range as the others. I don't really have much variation in PLH among my Outlaws (I know it doesn't take much to change flight)

I also snaggled a blue 2nd run 168g. Huge dome as well. However, comparing to my 1st run white 174g, my blue seems to have a slightly LOWER parting line, so it may be flippier than my my 1st run. Also in SoCal so haven't had a chance to throw either of them much <only got in 1 throw with my white one as Sylmar has been set up in mostly short spots for a few weeks>.

Anyone here able to compare to a Scythe? Have Cannons for max d and my scythes for reliable fade/headwind driver. Would the Outlaw fit in the gap? I throw RHFH btw.

You would want to get a max weight Red or Blue Icon for the headwind business, as far as comparing it to a scythe.. assuming the outlaw falls within the standard deviation it would start out with more turn than a scythe would and a strong, but more forward fade. Outlaw would go a little farther. I have no trouble with my outlaws in a headwind, but you do have to give them a little more hyzer so they flip to flat and dont drift.

as far as fitting in the gap, yes i think the outlaw would work well.

Thanks. I figured it would be a good fit. Just wanted to ask around before I dropped the dough. I throw max weight or close anyway so that will be good. Appreciate the feedback.

I received a couple of 2nd-Run Icon Outlaws in the mail today, and I'm thinking the packaging is to blame for my odd blue one. It's got a puddle-top, basically. On the left side, it starts to sink right after the edge of the rim, then comes up to about 2/3 the way through the cowboy stamp, and then curves down normally the rest of the way. It looks like this was a fairly domey disc before shipping, but because it got packed top-to-top in a padded envelope, it appears quite lop-sided. Is there any way to remedy this, so it pops back up? It may be all mental, but I'm not confident in the flight of this one. I expected better packaging from a major retailer.

WOW, where did you buy these from? I'd like to know so i can avoid them in the future.

And to remedy things like this, i usualy get some HOT water running and fill the disc up like a bowl with hot water for a while.

If your sink doesnt get very hot, then get a big pan, fill it with water and put it on the stove to bring the water to almost boiling and just dip it in there for a few seconds, this has helped bring my discs back to shape in the past.

dont set the disc on a flat surface upside down with hot water in the dome, you might flatten the disc by accident.. be careful.
