Thanks for getting back to me!

Any chance you know if the Flying Circus event in Dallas on Monday will have prototype MD3s for sale? I bought one but wish I grabbed a second for a wall hanger. Ordering from the store is kinda pricey due to shipping and I just received 4 other discs along with my MD3 lol.

Absolutely. I've got right around 100 in my stock at this point.

MD3 updates

1st round of Texas Open today at Gateway park I threw my 2 P-MD3's on every single mid-range shot except save 1 (1 glow md3 shot). I can finally give it a proper review comparing it to the MD2's. Off the tee it was what I trusted for 250-300' tunnel shots and tight windows. This is the most confident I've been throwing Discmania mids.

The MD3 likes to be thrown harder. In P-line at higher speeds it will drift or flip to flat from a slight hyzer and lock the line. It can handle power and is very predictable in the way that a good KC Pro Roc is (MD3's have less turn out of the box I think). I could really see this becoming our flagship midrange just like a KC Roc is to Innova. I actually put a fresh one in the bag this morning because after a few weeks testing the first one I had it's already got a notch more drift, so cycling is easy.

The MD2 has a natural turn, even in C-line, out of the box. I've found that I overpower it more often than I mean to. It likes to work slower, finesse lines. I'd tell people that a variety of MD2's is right for them if they throw in the 300-340' range off the tee. If you have more power than that a MD2 will be more of a turnover mid.

Oh...and Ryan you won the CD2 battle. I put one in the bag two days ago and those maroon ones with the fresh cut grass foil are money. Super happy with it now. I just didn't understand the disc before.

So...in summation: FD's, MD3's, CD2's when you're in the woods.

What spots are those that the gyro discs are holding down that we don't have? We are working on getting the baskets here and available for sale soon. The basket catches amazing. When we got them to test here in the US we were quite surprised at the level this thing catches. We hope you guys will like them just as much as we do.

Well, primarily:

Understable midrange; I have a theory there right now, I'd love to see you guys release a true understable midrange. I know Simon doesn't really throw mids, nor does it really seem Jussi does, but if you really want a complete lineup, then I really would recommend creating one.

Putting putter: I'm rocking Envys, and I could probably replace them with the P2, but I just really like Envys.

Those are the two main slots that Axiom really has in my bag; otherwise it's a mix of Discmania, Innova, and Lat 64. I am also testing out the insanity for really long drives, but I'll probably also try a TD in that spot eventually...

Really looking forward to the baskets!

Picked up 4 proto MD3s and 5 more of the regular release. I don't play nearly as much as I'd like, and keep a c-line and euro glow in the bag, so those 9 should keep me happy for a good while! Thank you Discmania -- this was EXACTLY the disc release I had been hoping for since I first threw the MD3!

At one point wasn't there free shipping over 75 at the discmania store? Just tried placing an order and it was a no go.

Yea they got rid of it for some reason and only comes back for "special occasions". I haven't ordered since they got rid of it, and don't plan on ordering until it comes back

i dont know what run of CMD2 you have but the ones i have don't turn when you mash them they just straighten out. i love throwing them on holes in the 380 range because i know if i put power in to it i can just laser beam them without worrying about them flipping. in fact i dont think ive ever flipped a CMD2 even the one ive had in my bag for 2 years. that one will turn a bit but its definitely not a turnover mid.

^^ Couldn't agree more with this. ^^
I could but anymore would just be gilding the lily.

I took my proto P-MD3's to a tournament this past weekend and let people try them out...ended up leaving one in the bag and damn glad I did. Anything that was 250-340 that needed a straight or slight turn mid shot, I reached for the P-MD3 over my worn in JL MD2 and it worked flawlessly. I honestly think the P-MD3 is going to become my workhorse midrange in my bag. The plastic mix is just right and it seems to have a notch better glide than the C-MD3. Anybody want a stack of worn in MD2's :D

Definitely!! Would hopefully season into a nice turnover/roller disc quickly, but then hold at that spot for a while before becoming uselessly flippy.

YES TO DRIVER PRO FDS!!!!

:D

Sorry, I'm excitable today.

I can get on board with these! It would make my search for soft s-line FD's no longer needed as I love the softer plastic for long anhyzers :)

If we get those can we also get S-line FD2's?

I will probably have to sleep on the couch for a week if they release driver pro FDs...

Yeah I will be selling lots of collectors to avoid the sofa if MF FDs & Md3's ever come out or s-line FD2s. Already fighting the bug to not by more p-line MD3!

Any word if there will be a S-line p1x come out eventually? i'm an S-line junkie lol.

I would definitely buy that. My d-lines have quickly become my go to approach/driving putter. They feel great, but do tend to wear quickly. I'd love to keep an s-line to hold stability longer with a worked in d-line.

Trying to get any and all information on these two discs for a new friend (he only does email, no facebook or forums for him lol). One looks like it's from the Aussie open and the other from another tourney. He wanted to know if they were rare or not since he saw they were numbered. The Aussie Open is 20 of 500.
