[Innova] XT - New Plastic from Innova?

DGCR: Where any other company releases a new disc or plastic, and they are hailed as Messiah, yet when Innova releases new plastic or discs its automatically exploitation, trying to grasp at a fleeing market share, or just down right trickery.

Come on people.

Quality

I'll admit "compete" would have been a better choice than "keep up" but again, not arguing market share. Other companies have introduced new products, and Innova elected to release GStar and now XT. With Innova dominating the market, why would they start reformulating plastic blends, other than to "compete" w/ competition? Exploiting Innova loyalty maybe?

what quality issues are you having? I've not heard that much negative feedback.

I really don't know how much we can actually expect from a $14 piece of plastic. The Gstar that I have feel great, fly nice, and have held up well for the most part.

ugh

it's pretty rough around here but I guess that's unavoidable on a forum with this many members. It does feel like you have to wade through bucket loads of crap for the few quality posts though.

I guess Streets can't find anywhere to start stability debates, so now I'm an Innova hater who worships other companies new discs.

You'll notice I said "DGCR: where..." not "Declarkus: who..." in my post, but ya know, whatevs.

Does it scare anyone else when an established company scrambles to keep up with a superior product? I'm not saying that the companies selling better plastic are better. I am saying Innova released all these plastics to compete with superior plastic blends. Whether or not they are comparable is debatable.....like everything on DGCR.
It sounds like G Star is becoming exposed for the hasty response to diminished market share that I thought it might be.

What in the G* release do you see as a "hasty response" I haven't met anyone yet who has disliked theirs.

Agreed. I've even been impressed with it not getting overly soft in the heat. The TeeBirds are my favorite plastic for the mold at this point.

Exactly this. It's all in how you spin it, and in this case Declarkus, you're negatively spinning it for whatever reason.

Why can't Innova release new plastic or new molds because they think it would be good for the game? Why does it have to be framed in context of what other companies are doing.

If you're phrasing it in terms of "competing" than you fail to realize that market share dictates competition, and Innova has no peer in that. All other companies are competing with each other for the scraps, that's the reality.

I give this thread one star for its complete and utter lack of useful information, and post upon post of mindless bickering.
What a **** show.

Some of come to the forums to actually learn something. You guys wanna fight about it? Take it to the landfill where it belongs.

Well, he started out with a 'putter' throw 470 - then it went to a mid, then it was downhill. Hence, the 'fish' is growing as the story is told. I don't see that too often on the course - mainly on DGCR .... that's what I was talking about ...

Yea, hole 3 is a putter mid shot for pretty much anybody at that level.

Geeze, I can't even throw a driver 300 feet and I throw a Roc on that hole.
I throw far......

downhill.

I love that Innova is exploring new plastic options. There really aren't a lot of spots left to fill on their flight charts (but that can happen still, and you can still have discs with similar flights but different feel), so this seems to be a natural progession. Why wouldn't the biggest company continue to innovate? It's what got them this far in the first place, and there is so much growth in the game right now that resting on their laurels isn't smart business.
