[Mids] What Trilogy disc is most like the Buzzz??

As you can see I carry lots of different molds. "My signature" I feel like I need to simplify my bag with less molds to choose from. Problem is I love m MVP discs but I think I love Trilogy more. The midrange is the hardest section for me to decide on. I fell that the Buzzz may be the best overall discs ever made and I'm wondering what Trilogy disc is the closest. FYI I've only thrown a 178 Ti Buzzz. Is the fugitive, Core, Warship, or is it a classic Truth? Please grove my all te knowledge you have!

IF you listened to the disc golf answer man radio show on youtbue i asked the same question and they said Truth, Warpship, or Claymore. Try the truth in the base plastic and if you like it, try it in lucid.

don't they all have + rims? Because I am pretty sure they all do, and I don't think the buzzz does, so it may fly like it, but it won't feel like it.

Depends on what plastic Buzzz you're throwing. Lucid Truth is going to be the straightest, if I recall correctly, with the Classic being the most overstable but then wearing in to straight. I think Fuzion/Biofuzion falls somewhere in the middle. More dedicated Truth throwers can probably add to this.

If you're replacing one mold with another I don't see how that is simplifying your molds. I'll play your game though lol. If you've only thrown a Ti Buzz I guess you're not diehard on the buzzz anyway so I'd say try a lucid truth and that will get you as close as you can.

When I threw a buzzz and Lat was new, the core was pretty close, a bit longer. But I think that disc is a bit weird because it has a nipple in the middle that can change how it flies.

Lucid Truth flies a lot like my z Buzzz.

To me the truth is a little faster and more overstable. It's closer to a 10 year. The core was made to try and compete with the buzzz but it is not quite as stable. They get a little squirrely in any headwind.

Wasn't busting stones I just meant if you didn't have a bunch of them in all the plastics you probably weren't completely attached to the mold so changing it isn't a big loss. So I guess now I'm confused. If you're a die hard buzz guy and you're only looking to lessen molds why switch? I mean you said you think it's one of the best discs ever. I wouldn't disagree I threw a buzzz, well a couple, for the majority of the time playing but I like the truth and plastic options better so now I have 3 truths in the bag.

So much hate gets thrown around this place for anyone who hints at switching one disc for a trilogy disc I'm just trying to save your thread from that.

Lucid truth though man. It's pretty close but great all on it's own merit.

If you are a diehard Buzzz guy, it is the best mold ever made. But a Lucid Truth is as close as you're gonna get from latitude plastic.

I will answer your question first....TO ME and many others the truth is the closest trilogy disc to a buzzz...that is because they made it with that intention. Like someone else said, it is like the original barstamps from back in 2003 era and the new 10yr ones. They are more overstable than the ones you are probably used to getting right off the shelf but they beat in nicely and decently quick to where it will be like the buzzz you already love.


NOW...that being said. I have to ask,

why the switch to throwing all Trilogy? (this coming from one who does) but it is important for you to know why and what you are doing. Additionally if you say "to be on Team Trilogy" I am going to advise you even more so to reflect on what you are doing and why. Not because it is a bad thing but because knowing is half the battle as they used to say.
