I don't got a ton of discs, in fact, I only got three mids at the moment and none of them are overstable. I'm currently throwing a roc3 for the stable to slightly understable slot (my Roc3 is very beat) and I use a Fuse for truly understable shots. My third mid is a dx Shark, I can't stand the feel of DX. So I need something that will finish left with no turn. I'd prefer something predictable with lowish glide for this slot, does anybody have a suggestion?

^driver

Gator is a good one. Apparently the new DD Justice fits this bill. Discraft Drone...

It's still a driver. The rim is actually the same width as a Firebird's wing.

Tridents don't even fly.

A faster driver might be better as it will be "speed" stable (OS) but also flight winds, skip and eventully fly longer than any mids. On the opposite end of that, ever consider a putter? Zones are loved for this spot.

I don't really throw a mid that is any more OS than a roc3 (vector) and just move up to a fairway if needed. Messed around with an MVP tensor for a while but it felt nothing like a vector/shark/roc etc which I like (beads) and smaller diameter (harder to get up to speed/less glide)

if you insist- doesnt the flight path determine that though, not the rim width?

A vote for Justice in its place then.

Gator is the first disc that comes to mind. I've gone through many different configurations of straight and understable midranges over the years, but I've been bagging the same Champion Gator for almost 10 years.

But it depends on exactly how big of an overstable pig you're looking for.

if you want mega OS beef brick: metal flake, glow champ, or ring of gators stamped flat JL gator

if you want a little more glide: drone or star gator

sometimes people fall in love with the drone or gator and end up using it a lot, but other times its purely a utility disc rarely used but in the bag. one thing with a mega OS brick mid is that they have their specific uses and when you need them they can be magical.

Most of the MVP mid-ranges are lauded for being stable/overstable. In addition, the plastic doesn't beat-in and resists loses in stability due to usage...

Mega beef = Justice
Little beef = Suspect

A suspect in classic soft plastic is much more OS than the rest of the plastics, my favourite are biofuzion suspects in an opaque dayglow plastic. Can throw straight at full power with reliable but not excessive fade. They get better with use and eventually can be used for straight shots with minimal fade.

The justice is crazy OS, feels like a beaded suspect in the hand though.

Low glide? Justice, drone, zone, harp, envy, mortar, I know I threw some tweeners in there but they are great for the slot.
