I got my silverback a couple weeks ago and I love it. It is well worth the wait. I am actually thinking about ordering a Squirrel monkey too, just for local rounds. But everyone waiting should know that the wait is not bad considering the awesome quality.

This is exactly what I was thinking,he should definitely close off orders, finish the current, then try to get a stock of bags set-up.

agreed, a backup of like 60 bags is a whole lot. im sure having the money sitting there is nice, but a break from taking orders to get caught up would probably be good/smart. just my opinion

do your thing chris

im sitting at roughly 85 bags that have to be made now, part of the reason im highly considering taking this dif approach to production..

i wish i cud afford to hire some people to help me but ideally i cant really afford it, and i have the same problem with closing the store down while i catch up with no income i cant pay my bills.

so im still thinking about what to do for sure and of course im gonna be posting it up what i decide here in the next few days, its good to know that you guys are willing to wait if need be in order for me to get my production up to par ;)

Ill bet one MR Disc Golf sented mini it was a Kong.

Chris' bag is the first ever LE Silverback :)

He's probably getting tired of constantly playing "catch up".

And this is why I made that suggestion as it's tough to have anything actually in stock if you're playing catch up and still taking orders which keeps you from taking orders. Either way I think with all the suggestions here that he's bright enough to think out the different situations and choose what should work out best.

M2CW,, The only problem I see, is guaging WHAT colors would sell faster than others. If you make 20 blue and everyone wants green.

that actually not to hard to figure out cause i can look back and see what it is I sell the most of for colors and what style bags i have

It might be time to raise your prices. Or have a rush order option that would cost $$$.

having a rush order option wont work cause every one will do it and it will just end up with the same back up i have now, kinda like being at the bar and trying to play music on the jukebox and some jackass keeps paying the extra buck to get his songs played before yours....see what im sayin

but yes prices are going to go up a little here soon im thinking ill change em in july

ok after some talking here now we are going to start working on what ever I have cut out for spider, then chimps, then squirrels and keep working our way up through the styles...start with the easiest ones is the way to go cause it ain't gonna take very long to blow through them...I WILL GET CAUGHT UP!

I thought it would be SB. By the by,,LOVE my Kong. I should have had you autograph it, it could be a collectors item. Id never sell, but others would want it. Its like having a hott wife, you can look but dont touch.:D

Anyway of letting us know what order number the each bag type you have cut is going to cover? Example:The 23 pre-cut Spiders I am working on now will cover up to order #962, ect....

I am fine with the wait, but it would be cool to know if I made the "cut' or not.

Keep up the awesome work.

I took break from DG for a month or so, came back and realized.. my bag is so much nicer than a majority of the people I play with. No rips, no faulty zippers, plenty of disc/misc. space.. all in all I just couldn't be happier. Keep up the good work Chris.

For those curious. I have the Chimp, plastidipped bottom, cut the divider on the back/top to make it more comfortable carrying and getting discs out, put bigger carabiners on, and attached carabiners to the front so if I'm playing a course with lots of people I can attach my stool on the front. I really suggest the plastidip.

:cool:Although I ordered a Simian, I believe starting with the smaller bags and working your way up seems logical. I have no issues with the wait, except that I cannot handle it...
