The Dye A Day Thread! (Part III)

My first dye job on a Legacy rival, disc was stamped with a Chavez ridge stamped then over stamped with the grinder reaper. I had a little bleed thru in a few spots like where the The reaper was but not too bad I think. GO GIANTS

My first try of the marble technique and a test for the super old Rit Dye I found in a pharmacy in a little town in the middle of nowhere. Wishing I had bought more now.

Dyed this one last night on a Zlite Crank SS. I don't remember the name...only that its a comic book, perhaps Marvel figure. Other than a few minor bleeds & the wings being a little truncated I'm happy with it.

New GL Saint Dye

Here is my new Saint. Got a fellow Redditor named schaudenfruede taco (great name) to do it for me. I think it turned out amazing. I love the stained glass circle around the saint. Taco did a really great job. Just wanted to show it to you guys because I think it's a really cool and well-executed dye and to show off his work. I can't wait to throw it this weekend.

That looks great

Here are all the dyes I have done in the past few months. Nothing like the workmanship normally seen here but I'm learning a lot and having fun.http://imgur.com/4r24Xh2

Ignore the date stamp; I don't know how to change that setting on my camera:)

Just made the Heart of Te Fiti out of a sweet, pearly champ destroyer

To revitalize this thread I think we should re-post some of our favorite dyes that are on the previous 2 Dye a Day threads.
Any thoughts?

Yeah, I posted the ones I've done recently a few days ago. Did it as an imgur link so maybe no one looked at them. Should I try to just post them in the post instead of as a link? Or maybe they were just so amateurish that people observed the maxim of "don't say anything if you can't say something nice." :)

A better idea would be for us to just dye moar. I haven't finished a dye in ages it feels like. Just too much frolfing. I need to get back to my VB/Prodiscus series soon. I think my issue is I starting cutting a Helper dye that I am not stoked about and just gave up on. I need to just pick a new image and start over.

Also, Okthrowberfest is already approaching....

As for old dyes - someone go find the Tom and Jerry dye where Tom was dyed on the back of a clear disc, like it was a window he was smacking into. That was always one of my favs ever, but I suck at finding things.
