Coverage was great, as everyone else said I loved the FPO spliced in. The full round coverage was a welcome treat, always nice to see different approaches taken. I got to watch it all live, except yesterday

I just want to say that the coverage from the memorial this year has been unbelievable. I can't remember any tournament that has had this depth of coverage and the quality has been so good as well. CCDG and Jomez with entertaining commentary and their usual great video on really a short turn-around, Marty with some same day coverage of that looked great, and live coverage that was incredibly watchable. Hats off to whoever had the idea to splice in coverage from FPO during the dead time because it made a ton of difference (and Paige's performance was awesome to watch).

100% agree, thanks to everyone involved. For those of us that can not be there, this is the next best thing! Great job Terry on four days of commentary, it has to be exhausting.

Yes, that was a really, really, really, REALLY good idea! Gets us some view of the women's throws (and they had some awesome ones), fills in the time nicely.

Somebody that is friends with Jamie Thomas on Facebook should go tell him to checkout the FPO being mixed into the Memorial coverage. He is whining about the low viewer numbers of the SpinTV FPO coverage of GCC. Mixing them into live was a really great way to showcase the women. Though I prefer watching the full video of them to see all the shots.

And please ask Jamie & Co. to have some patience... there is a TON of video on the Memorial out there. I know I'm still working through it all. So hopefully those FPO viewing numbers will go up.

Just want to chime in praising the coverage. It was great to watch.

I believe showing the FPO round during down time of the MPO coverage has been part of the DGPT/Smashboxx plan since the start of the tour last year. I remember them trying to do it for the Vibram Open (first ever DGPT) but the problem was that Jonny V didn't have the time or opportunity to properly cut the footage, so what they did show wasn't very cohesive. My understanding is that they had someone doing just that this time around, which makes all the difference in the world. I think that is also what allowed them to do a bit more of the instant replay stuff, particularly the "SmashCut" style recap at the end of yesterday's broadcast.

This can only get better if they can continue to build the team behind the scenes.
