For what it's worth, it wasn't Westside who came up with that "headline", it was the title of the PDGA announcement of its approval. Presumably the author of the announcement is responsible for the somewhat misleading words.

More or less overstable than a Felon? How does it compare to a Firebird?

A touch more overstable than a Felon, but I will grant that the Felon I was throwing prior to replacing it with an Ahti was a bit beat up so it might be the same if both are brand new.

It's been a long time since I've thrown a Firebird, but I'd say it's comparable.

fortress is my lead guy. dont flick it much, but i do use it as my main wind driver.

my frost spark is shaking now with an ahti on the horizon.

Fortress look like a great disc, as much as I love Firebirds it's been hard to find the ones I like the best and if the Ahti is that wider rimmed XXX type disc it could jump right in that slot.

It drops today, but most of the sites haven't updated. Hopefully that changes soon, I'm buying two.
